(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Draymond Green Over 12.5 Rebounds + Assists (-110)
The Warriors knew they needed to make a huge move to get back into playoff contention. They swung big and landed Jimmy Butler, who will help them move up from the No. 11 seed in the Western Conference.
This helps mainstays Steph Curry and Draymond Green. Green is the enforcer in the paint and has done his job well for over a decade. Golden State already had a dominating 131-106 win over Chicago. Green didn't play in that game, but in the previous matchup against the Bulls last year, he posted 22 combined rebounds + assists.
The Bulls have struggled against forwards this season by allowing the second-most rebounds and fourth-most assists per game to the position. They've also allowed forwards to go over their combined rebounds + assists prop in nine of the last 10 games.
Klay Thompson Over 11.5 Points (-115)
The Mavericks are entering a new era as they navigate this franchise without Luka Doncic. Doncic was injured and out of the lineup for a while, but now they at least have Anthony Davis as a force in the frontcourt. The question is who will step up for this team?
Klay Thompson didn't have the best start to the season, but as he's gotten acclimated to the system, he has performed better. In October and November (17 games), he shot 38.3% from the floor. In the next 28 games, he shot 44.2%. He's looked great recently, with 20+ points in three of his last six games. He's faced the Rockets twice and has gone over this total in both games and five straight dating back to last season.
Houston is a great defense, but they are struggling. They recently dropped five straight. In that span, their 120.3 defensive rating ranks 22nd since January 30th.
