Saturday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

DeMar DeRozan Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)

The Kings might be in a transitional phase. They fired Mike Brown, who led them to their first playoff appearance in over a decade a couple of years ago, and traded De’Aaron Fox to San Antonio. They made a splash and brought in Zach LaVine, so hopefully, that can help them get higher than the NBA Play-In Tournament.

One Kings player having an excellent year is DeMar DeRozan, who is averaging 22 points per game. He's been fantastic recently, going over his combined points + rebounds + assists prop in five of his last six games. The Rockets are an excellent defensive team, but DeRozan exceeded his projection in their previous matchup with a combined 42 points + rebounds + assists.

De’Aaron Fox Over 23.5 Points (-105)

Speaking of De’Aaron Fox, his and the Spurs’ projections have drastically changed since Victor Wembanyama’s season-ending injury. They looked like a team ready to be a playoff contender, but that might have to wait until Wembanyama returns next year.

In the meantime, Fox will be considered the main offensive option. His San Antonio tenure started great but has slumped in recent games. He has gone under his points prop in three straight and is only averaging 11.6 points in that span.

This is an excellent opportunity for Fox to bounce back against an opponent he's had success against by scoring 23+ points in three of his last four matchups against Memphis. The Grizzlies like to play fast, averaging the most possessions per game (107.6), so this could give Fox more scoring chances.

Chris Paul Over 7.5 Assists (+115)

What helps De’Aaron Fox is that he plays with a future Hall of Fame point guard. Chris Paul isn't as much of a playmaker as he once was, but he's still one of the best facilitators the game has ever seen. His nine points per game are the lowest of his career, but the eight assists per game are seventh in the league.

The Grizzlies will allow their opponents to spread the ball as their opponent's 63.9% assists rate is 16th and they rank 20th in assists allowed per game to guards.
