NBA Player Props Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (11/9)

We've gotten a lot of data to sift through for the first couple weeks of the NBA. It may still be early, but it's still valuable to learn where teams are at, and where they can go. Remember, it's a long NBA season. Don't go betting your entire paycheck on any single prop, even if it's incredible value. With the season just getting underway there will be a lot of learning about each team and players usage but that's all part of the fun. Finally, remember to monitor injury news as being on top of players playing or not is a sharp way to make some money before lines adjust. Here are my best bets for tonight's action.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Thursday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 4-1
Season: 21-10

Trae Young Over 36.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-115, DraftKings)

Trae Young has been relatively quiet so far this season but as consistent as ever, scoring 20-plus points in six of his seven games this year. Combine that with three straight efforts tallying 10-plus assists and you can see why I like this prop.

Despite playing on the road, this is a perfect spot for the Magic, who have struggled to contain opposing point guards. Orlando has allowed nearly 25 points this year to opposing point guards, sixth-most in the NBA.

Considering Young isn't your everyday guard, and that he easily can reach double-digit assists, I expect him to reach 40 points, assists and rebounds. Atlanta is one of the fastest paced teams in the league and ranks fourth in offensive efficiency. Especially with Markelle Fultz questionable, I love this prop even more.

Clint Capela Over 19.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-115, Caesars)

With only two games on the slate tonight, there are slim pickings. I don't currently see props for Milwaukee-Indiana so we're gonna stick to the Hawks!

Really I just like Atlanta tonight. I trust the BettingPros projections and they have this combo prop right around 22.7. The Prop Bet Cheat Sheet is a fantastic resource for all your needs and is a big reason why I've had such a great season so far.

When Capela is on the court, he is producing. In 28 minutes against New Orleans, he posted 17 points and seven rebounds. His double-doubles aren't all too rare, considering he's done it four times in this short season. I will happily bet this prop.
