NBA Player Props Bet Picks & Predictions: Friday (12/6)

Welcome to a seven-game NBA slate before we head into the weekend. It's been a great season so far, and I hope we continue that trend tonight with some fun matchups. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you're getting the best value. Let's get to it.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Friday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds Courtesy Of Caesars Sportsbook)

Last Time: 3-0 | Season: 54-33

Myles Turner Over 18.5 Points + Assists (+108)

Usually, when it comes to player props, some juice is involved, so getting this prop at plus money feels like a steal. The total here is almost at 250, so I don't get how every prop isn't inflated. During the season, Turner is averaging just shy of 18 points and assists per game. That's taken a bit of a dip recently, but he is in one of the best on-paper matchups you can ask for, so I'm not sure what the projection is. Chicago has allowed the fourth most points per game to opposing centers, and they play at the fastest rate in the NBA. There's a reason the total is so high. I simply expect Indy to score, and with a 20-plus percent usage rate, Turner will get his fill.

Paul George Under 17.5 Points (-117)

The new 76ers star hasn't had a great welcome to Philadelphia, with only 10 games played and only three wins in those efforts. He's off the injury report from resting last game, but he's still only averaging 16 points a game in a difficult matchup. The Orlando Magic has been the third-best defense in the league and are suffocating to opposing small forwards allowing the fewest points in the league to the position. The Magic may still be missing Paolo Banchero, but with Wendell Carter Jr. back in the mix, this is a defense that should limit Paul George, especially with Joel Embiid still out. The total is 210, so it's not as if Vegas exactly expects a ton of scoring tonight, either. This number is too high.

Khris Middleton Over 8.5 Points (-120)

If you haven't heard of the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet, it is the golden standard of sports betting. The Sheet is a big reason why I have had such a great season, and it's not just in the NBA. Tonight, Middleton is projected at 13 points on The Sheet with a 73 percent chance of hitting. Of course, he is making his seasonal debut, but Middleton has consistently discussed how he wouldn't return until he was ready. Milwaukee has won seven of their last eight games, so despite being a 6.5-point underdog, I imagine Middleton will be slotted in with respectful usage and enough opportunity to get to double-digit scoring.
