Denver is allowing 12.8 made three-pointers per game this season, and 14.3 over the last three games. Opponents are shooting over 42% from above the perimeter in the previous three contests against the Nuggets. Alexander-Walker has made 26 three-pointers over the previous seven games, while shooting 43.3% from deep.
The Hawks guard is averaging four made three-pointers in two games played in December. Alexander-Walker has made at least three three-point attempts in two out of the last three home games.
Jerami Grant Over 18.5 Points (-122)
Jerami Grant is averaging 19 points through 22 games, while shooting 44 % from the field and 41% from beyond the arc. The veteran forward scored 25 points in the previous matchup against Detroit, while making six baskets from deep.
Grant is averaging 31.5 points over his last six games against Detroit. The Trail Blazers forward has scored at least 24 points in six consecutive contests against the Pistons - including a 49-point performance two seasons ago.
This selection is purely matchup-based. History shows Grant loves playing against the Pistons. The Portland forward is averaging 25 points in the last two contests played in Detroit. O'Neale has been scorching-hot from three-point distance this season, and Houston is happily allowing their opponents to knock down baskets from above the key. This selection seems a bit scary at first, yet the tale of the tape suggests O'Neal has a very decent opportunity to make at least three shots from beyond the arc this evening.
