NBA Player Props & Bets: Friday (2/6)
In what should be an exciting first weekend following the NBA trade deadline, six games will be played across The Association this evening. There is certainly no shortage of options to consider, so let's get into some of our favorite NBA player props for Friday, February 6th.
Jaylen Brown 8+ Rebounds (+123)
We open up the night with a rebounding prop that appears to be in our favor, given the success Jaylen Brown has had on the boards over the last month. You can also bet on 7+ rebounds at -143. However, we are going to get a tad more ambitious on this plus return.
Brown is averaging 8.3 rebounds over his last 10 games. He is averaging 7.9 boards when playing on the road. The veteran forward has met the requirement of 8+ rebounds or more in four consecutive contests as the away team.
Brown is averaging eight rebounds in two games against Miami this season. The Celtics forward has averaged 8.4 rebounds in the previous five games against an Eastern Conference opponent. Given the recent form, we are in favor of climbing up to eight rebounds for this contest.
Zach LaVine 3+ Rebounds (+112)
This selection represents our second-largest return, and one where we are getting a very low number to exceed. Zach LaVine's name was engulfed in trade discussions through the deadline, but the Kings chose to stand pat. Sacramento will more than likely remain on the outside of success as they look in, which hopefully results in clearing prop totals for the rest of the season.
LaVine is averaging 2.8 boards per contest. He faces a Clippers team tonight that took a massive hit in efficiency, losing Ivica Zubac yesterday. The veteran guard has recorded at least three rebounds in 16 consecutive games when playing against the Los Angeles Clippers.
LaVine has grabbed at least seven rebounds in two out of the last three contests, for an average of 3.6 boards per game over that span. The Kings guard is pulling three rebounds per game when facing a division opponent. LaVine accumulated three rebounds or more in six out of the previous 10 games against an opponent in the Pacific Division.
Pascal Siakam 4+ Assists (-127)
Pascal Siakam heads into this contest dishing out four assists per game and has fared quite well against Milwaukee this season in racking up dimes. The Bucks are allowing 119.7 points per game over the last three contests - including 137 points to the Pelicans on Wednesday. With points come assists, and we may have a slight edge with Siakam tonight.
Siakim has faced the Bucks on two occasions this season, averaging five assists. The Pacers forward has finished with at least four assists in four straight games on the road. Siakam is averaging 3.9 assists on the road this season.
The veteran forward has recorded at least four dimes in nine out of the last 10 contests. Siakam is averaging 4.6 assists over the last 10 games and 4.1 in the previous 10 contests against an Eastern Conference opponent.
Yves Missi 6+ Points (-109)
Yves Missi was another name rumored to be playing in a different uniform this weekend. No move was made, and the young center will more than likely be heavily relied upon against a lengthy Minnesota team tonight. We love a small threshold, especially when it comes to points. Missi only needs three baskets to clear this prop, and we like our chances this evening.
Missi has scored six points or more in six out of his last 10 games. The Pelicans center is averaging 5.6 points on 53.8% shooting from the field when playing a Western Conference opponent this season. In 16 games over the last month, Missi is averaging 6.5 points per game.
The Pelicans center has scored eight points or more in six consecutive games where the Pelicans are on the road as an underdog. We only need six points for this selection. Missi played 31 minutes last night. We feel there is enough in the tank to reach six points on Friday.
Shaedon Sharpe 3+ Three-Pointers Made (-116)
We close out the evening with a three-point prop that will more than likely result in the sweatiest of our bets this evening. Shaedon Sharpe connects on 2.1 baskets per game from beyond the arc on the season. He is on a bit of a streak from deep, and the Memphis Grizzlies have allowed an average of 15 three-pointers over the last three games
The young guard hits 2.4 baskets per game from above the perimeter when playing at home, and adds an extra 5% to his three-point shooting rate when playing in Portland. Sharpe has made at least three shots from deep in two out of the last four games.
The Trail Blazers guard hit three shots from beyond the arc in five consecutive contests when Portland comes in as a favorite for the contest. Sharpe finished with three makes from three-point distance in two out of the previous three games against a Western Conference opponent.
Enjoy the games this evening. Best of luck with your picks.
