Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jakob Poeltl 13+ Points + Rebounds (-113)

Jakob Poeltl is not playing many minutes in the series between the Cavaliers and Raptors. Having said that, when he has been on the floor, the production has been highly efficient. The 12.5 line set for his combined points + rebounds prop feels severely low, and that could lead to a small angle for this prop.

Poeltl is averaging 10.6 points and seven rebounds over the last three games. The Raptors center has also finished with 13+ combined points + rebounds in all three contests. Poeltl has scored at least eight points in eight straight games at home with Toronto as the underdog.

Poeltl has pulled down at least six rebounds in seven straight games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. His average of 20 minutes per game through the last three contests is not very appealing. The results are hard to argue, though. Poeltl looks to be in a fantastic spot to reach 13+ combined points + rebounds tonight in Toronto.

Collin Murray-Boyles 12+ Points (-114)

Collin Murray-Boyles is coming off a 22-point performance against the Cavaliers on Friday and could be in line for another successful scoring night at home in Game 4. The young forward has been on the floor for 54 minutes over the last two contests - just over four extra minutes compared to his season average of 21.9.

Murray-Boyles is averaging 17.7 points through three postseason games. The Raptors forward is connecting on an astounding 72.7% of attempts in the playoffs, while attempting an average of 11 shots each contest. Murray-Boyles scored at least 12 points in all three games of this series against Cleveland.

The Raptors forward finished with 12+ points in six out of seven games where he has been on the floor for 20+ minutes. Murray-Boyles seems to be locked in right now and experiencing an increase in playing time. The rookie out of South Carolina looks primed to clear 12+ points in this contest.

Jalen Duren Under 13.5 Points (-114)

We were rolling with the points + rebounds props for Jalen Duren as the season was winding down - which proved to be a lucrative strategy at the time. The worm has turned in a substantial way, and it only seems logical to move in a different direction going forward. Duren has struggled mightily in this series, which could provide a small edge against Orlando this evening.

Duren is averaging 10.2 points through the previous five games. The Pistons center finished with fewer than 14 points in all five games of this series against the Magic. Duren is averaging 10 points when playing on the road in the postseason.

Duren is shooting a very respectable 50% from the field during this series. However, the Orlando Magic are swarming Duren off the pick and roll - effectively taking him out of the offense. The young center scores almost 70% of attempts from within the paint or restricted area, and it's been a struggle to find any consistent offense, being limited in that regard. Duren is averaging 7.6 field goals in the past five games compared to 11.5 on the season.

Wendell Carter Jr. 11+ Points (-116)

Wendell Carter Jr. has been an integral part of the success the Magic have experienced against Detroit in this playoff series. Carter may not be the leading scorer for Orlando over the previous five games, but he has been especially efficient when at home, and we feel he can certainly finish this contest with at least 11 points.

The Magic center is averaging 11 points over five games against the Pistons in the playoffs. He has scored at least 11 points in all three postseason contests played at home. The veteran center is averaging 14 points per game through three playoff contests in Orlando. Carter is making 59% of his three-point attempts when playing at home in the previous three contests.

The product out of Duke scored at least 11 points in seven consecutive games at home against Eastern Conference opponents. There's a lot to like about this selection, and we feel great about Carter finishing this contest with at least 11 points.

Tari Eason 2+ Three-Pointers Made (-117)

The Houston Rockets have won two games back-to-back and will be attempting to tie this series up tonight. Kevin Durant is most likely not going to be on the floor this evening, which opens the door for Tari Eason to make an impact. This will be the most important home game of the season for the Rockets, and Eason could be in line for a big night.

The Rockets forward has caught fire over the last two contests - averaging 19 points through that span. While the points (14) may be one direction to go in this contest, we feel the three-point baskets have been more consistent in this series. Eason has made at least two three-pointers in four out of five games in the playoffs. The forward out of LSU is shooting 34.8% from beyond the arc in this series.

Eason has made at least two three-point baskets in three out of the last five games without Durant on the floor. The Rockets forward has attempted 11 shots from three-point distance through the previous two contests. If Eason can find five or six open opportunities from above the perimeter, the young forward should finish with at least two made baskets from beyond the arc.

Enjoy the games throughout the night. Best of luck with your picks.
