NBA Player Props Bets, Picks & Predictions: Friday (11/1)

We've hit the ground running as we are over a week into the NBA season and we're well on our way to a great season. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms so make sure you're getting the best value. What a time to be alive. Let's get into this nine-game slate and find some more winners. Hope you had a great Halloween.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Friday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 0-3 | Season: 12-10

Chet Holmgren Under 31.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 on ESPN Bet)

After tallying double-digit boards in each of the first two games, Chet settled for nine and five in each of his last two games. While Chet might get his boards up, I don't see him passing 20 points tonight in the scoring department. Portland has had the single-best defense against opposing centers so far, limiting them to a league-low 15.7 points. Their defense has been above average and will significantly slow down the Thunder so Chet's opportunity to go over his PRA will be limited as well. OKC also ranks 29th in rebounding as a whole with Portland coming in at 12th. His chances will be limited and he's going up against a tough opponent, I'm taking the Under here.

Mike Conley Over 16.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-105 on ESPN Bet)

It hasn't exactly been the best start to the season, but Denver has been behind the beat so far and offers a perfect matchup for Conley to bounce back. His minutes have taken a bit of a hit and his numbers are down as a result but his usage is now higher with more efficient when he's on the floor. Denver has allowed the third most points, the third most assists, and the 11th-most points against opposing point guards. As a whole, Denver ranks bottom-10 in defensive efficiency and is identically paced with Minnesota, so a normal possession rate can be expected for the Minnesota guard.

DeMar DeRozan Over 29.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-125 on ESPN Bet)

With a game total projected near 240 points, I had to find at least one player in this game to bet Over props on. Atlanta is the near-nuts matchup for opposing props. They rank third in overall pace of play, with the third-worst ranked defense. The Kings forward is projected at 34.5 PRA from the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet. If you are unaware, the Sheet is the best tool for all of your betting needs. It's a big reason why I did so well last year and has been a success early this year. Aligning with the sheet feels like a blessing and Atlanta is perfect for Overs, so I'd throw a pair of units on this.

Other Bets:

Trae Young Under 43.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 on ESPN Bet)
LaMelo Ball Under 37.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 on ESPN Bet)
D'Angelo Russell Over 22.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-115 on ESPN Bet)
