NBA Player Props & Bets: Sunday (11/8)

The NBA is officially back. I'll be here every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the best NBA player props for the day. We already had an explosive start to the season, and there are so many storylines to be excited about.

As always, keep an eye on any potential news and lineup announcements. You never know who might pop up on the injury report. The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay current with the latest updates. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, even in the playoffs, so ensure you get the best value.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be for a single unit.

Sunday's Best NBA Player Props & Bets

Last Time: 1-2 | This Season: 10-10 | Last Season: 92-76

LaMelo Ball Over 33.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-105 at Caesars Sportsbook)

With Anthony Edwards out, his teammates have had to pick up the slack. Tonight, I expect that to land on LaMelo Ball. We saw him play 35 minutes against the Pelicans the other day, and even as a big favorite, that's well within projections tonight. It also helps that he's facing one of the easiest matchups out there right now.

The Jazz are 1-8 with a bottom-seven league defense and top-half pace. It's still early, but Utah has also been especially weak against opposing point guards, and I trust Ball here given his dynamic ability. The line is a bit inflated, but he's covered it twice in five games and was a bucket away from this line against New Orleans. Bet the over here.

Derrick White Over 17.5 Points + Rebounds (-102 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Our next game is against the new-look Milwaukee Bucks, who have had a rough start (1-8) and an even worse defense, ranking 27th in the NBA. Combine that with the fourth-fastest pace of play, and you have a clear target when you want to bet the over on props.

I've mentioned inflated props before and zigging when everyone else zags, but non-stars often fall through the cracks, and that's the case here for Derrick White. He's coming off 25 minutes last time out, and that's brought his line down a bit today. But he's sailed over it in two straight games, and I'm shocked it isn't higher.

Not only is the Bucks’ defense struggling, but their rebounding numbers rank in the bottom 10. This is an easy over for White, who I expect to stay hot in an easy matchup.

Kyrie Irving Under 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-104 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

Finding an under on the slate, I'm fading Kyrie Irving and the Mavericks tonight. If you've read my articles, you know I've been big on Dallas. They’re near double-digit favorites against the Nets, but they will slow down, and Dallas is already a bottom-10-paced team.

And despite a 2-7 start, Brooklyn's defense has been better than its offense, while allowing the sixth-fewest points to opposing point guards. I think Irving will have limited opportunities here, and he hasn't covered this line in three of his last five games.
