NBA Player Props & Bets: Sunday (4/12)

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings)

Kon Knueppel 26+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-122)

Albeit only in his first season, Kon Knueppel has assumed a tremendous scoring role for the Charlotte Hornets. The young guard fared well against the Knicks in the previous game played this season between NY and Charlotte on 3/26. Kneuppel gets a chance to close out his rookie season at Madison Square Garden, and we like his chances to clear 26+ points, rebounds, and assists today.

The rookie guard finished with 26 points, 11 boards, and eight assists in the last matchup against NY. Kneuppel has racked up 16,7 points, 5.6 boards, and 3.2 assists through the last 10 games played against the Eastern Conference. The Duke alum averages 20.3 points, with 5.1 rebounds, and 3.2 dimes in road games on the season.

If Knueppel can score at least 17 or more points in this contest, he should finish with 25+ points, rebounds, and assists. The young guard is averaging 6.3 boards and 4.7 dimes in three games played against the Knicks.

Jalen Johnson 11+ Rebounds (+104)

Jalen Johnson has recorded 11 rebounds or more in 34 games on the season. Johnson is averaging 11.2 rebounds through the previous five games played. The forward for Atlanta finished with 11 rebounds or more in four out of the last five games played.

Johnson is averaging 10.7 rebounds in three contests against Miami this season. The young forward put up triple doubles in two of those three. Johnson has accumulated 27 rebounds in the previous two games played against the Heat. Johnson pulled down 11 boards or more in three consecutive games played on the road against the Eastern Conference.

Given the success rate against the Heat and the solid rebound performances as of late, this appears to be a fantastic spot for Johnson. The forward for the Hawks has grabbed at least 11 rebounds in six out of the previous seven games.

Reed Sheppard 21+ Points (-106)

There are a few possible avenues of success to take into account for Reed Sheppard in this contest. However, we believe it's best to play it straightforward and attack the points prop. Despite losing a few minutes over the last three games, we think this is a great spot for the young guard. The Rockets may choose to rest their starters, as suggested by the line of 21+ points, which would heavily open the door for opportunity.

Sheppard benefits from playing at home against a Memphis defense that is anything but formidable post NBA trade deadline. Memphis is allowing the opposition to connect on 39 percent of their shots from three-point distance over the last three games. The Grizzlies are allowing almost 142 points through their last three games played.

Sheppard has had a rough go over the last three games. Having said that, this could be a career-type of performance from the Kentucky product if Houston elects to rest their starters. If Sheppard is out there for 30+ minutes, he's more than likely going to score 21 points or more against this defense.

Scoot Henderson 20+ Points + Assists (-136)

Scoot Henderson is experiencing a surge in minutes as the season rounds out, and we feel this provides us with a very exploitable edge for this contest. Henderson's playing time has increased to 35 minutes over the last three games. The young guard averages 24.9 minutes through 29 games played. Henderson has now started in three consecutive contests.

What further intrigues us about this selection is the home court advantage against a very gracious Sacramento defense. Scoot Henderson is scoring 16.4 points while dishing out 4.5 assists over the last 10 home games. The 22-year-old is averaging 14.7 points and 4.3 assists in three games as a starter at home this season.

Sacramento ranks 27th in points allowed in 2025-2026 (121.0), with just under 29 assists when playing on the road. Opponents are hitting 49.5 percent of their attempts from the field when playing the Kings. Sacramento is tied for the highest opponent three-point percentage at 38 percent per contest, and 37.8 percent on the road.

Cooper Flagg 40+Points + Assists (-138)

Cooper Flagg has certainly been a bright spot in a season that's been quite underwhelming for the Mavericks. The #1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft proved to be nothing short of phenomenal, and as of late, has seriously picked up the scoring. We feel Flagg closes out the season with a very memorable performance tonight against an extremely vulnerable Chicago defense.

Flagg dropped 33 points with six boards and five assists against the Spurs on Friday. The rookie forward has scored 26 points or more in five out of the last eight games played on the road. Flagg is averaging 33 points, eight boards and five assists through the last five games - including performances of 45 and 51 points. The forward for the Mavericks is connecting on 44.4 percent from above the perimeter on just under 5.5 attempts per game.

Flagg has 11 games this season with 30 points or more. The rookie for Dallas finished with 40+ points, rebounds, and assists in three out of the last five games. Chicago gives up 123.8 points, 56.8 boards, and 29.1 assists when playing on the road in 2025-2026. Flagg should have ample opportunity to reach 40+ points, rebounds, and assists in this contest.

Enjoy the games tonight. Best of luck with your picks!
