NBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (11/5)

It's another day of NBA play. The first couple of weeks of the season are in the books, and we have a good first handful of data under our belts. Last year was another success, and I plan on running it back again. As always, monitor any potential news and lineup announcements.

The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay up-to-date with the latest news. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you get the best value. We have an 11-game slate today, so we have a lot of options. Let's get to it.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Props

Last Season: 174-125 | This Season: 8-6 | Last Time: 1-2 | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook

Lauri Markkanen Under 33.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-107)

The Jazz have started the season with one of the best possible ways, a 3-4 record. I don't expect Utah to continue its winning ways, and the sportsbooks agree as Detroit sits around double-digit favorites. Detroit boasts a top-five defense, and I expect it to be better at home.

Opposing forwards have generated the fourth-lowest combined points + assists + rebounds against the Pistons this year, and historically take a step back when playing on the road. Lauri Markkanen has been at a career-high 30% usage rate, and I'm not sure if that's sustainable. Even if it is, the possession rate will be limited against a difficult opposing defense. I'm happy to take the under here to start the betting night.

Evan Mobley Over 19.5 Points (-108)

Philadelphia traveling on a back-to-back? With likely no Joel Embiid? Jarrett Allen questionable? It's the perfect recipe for a great night from the Cleveland frontcourt piece. The 76ers have been underwhelming defensively despite their record ranking in the bottom third of the league. I don't feel like I have to go too much into detail for this one, but I must remind you to monitor injury news.

This line is set so that one or two of the aforementioned individuals will be out, and it might only continue rising. Evan Mobley has averaged over 19 points a game this year with 34 minutes a game. He will likely see additional minutes and or usage tonight against a defense that will be shorthanded. Get on this prop before it moves.

Neemias Queta Over 17.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-117)

I'm trusting the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet with the Celtics center. It's easy to bet against Washington, and I'm not going against that tonight. The Wizards are the 28th-ranked defense this season and play at the second-fastest pace in the league. No team has allowed a higher combined points + assists + rebounds to opposing centers than the Wizards, and Queta went over this line in his last game.

The Celtics center is seeing additional minutes and usage rate while being projected for over 20 combined points + assists + rebounds on the Prop Bet Cheat Sheet. The Sheet is the best tool for all your betting needs and is a big reason for my success last year. Betting opposing overs against the Washington Wizards is the easiest type of bet there is to make, and when it aligns with the Prop Bet Cheat Sheet, there might not be a better betting option out there.
