NBA Player Props & Bets: Wednesday (Timberwolves vs. Thunder)

The NBA Finals are closing in. The Thunder look to put the Timberwolves to bed with their 3-1 series lead. As always, monitor any potential news and lineup announcements.

The best way to stay informed about NBA player props is to stay up-to-date with the latest news. That's not as prevalent in the playoffs, but you never know what might happen. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so ensure you get the best value. Let's get to our top NBA player prop bets.

Wednesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 168-122 | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook

Jalen Williams Under 33.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-117)

After a 34-point effort across 39 minutes in a bounce-back win on Monday, Jalen Williams' combined points + assists + rebounds line is simply too high now. Williams seems to have teeter-tottered these playoffs, covering this line in 40% of postseason games. When he covers the line, he goes beyond, but otherwise, he struggles.

In the game before, he only got to 19 on the combo prop, and to open the series, he only tallied 19 points. The Timberwolves’ defense has stood up for itself these playoffs with the fourth-best rating. Considering four of those games were against the best offense in the league, that's not bad. Despite the Thunder game being in Oklahoma City, I do expect the Timberwolves to step up.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to get his fill and take away from Jalen Williams' usage. The Timberwolves allowed the 10th-fewest combined points + assists + rebounds to opposing small forwards this year. While the frontcourt for Oklahoma City is tough. I expect Minnesota to step up, and I'm riding the under here.

Julius Randle Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

Julius Randle has also been a bit more extreme in his performances with two 24-plus point efforts and two sub-10 point efforts in this playoff series. Playing the odds, he's due for a bounce-back game after just seven attempted field goals last time out. This is a line he's covered in 64% of games this season and in nine of the 14 playoff games so far.

After the last outing, this is an easy buy-low spot for Minnesota's power forward. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects Randle closer to 25 on the combo prop, and I've followed the sheet the entire season without fail. It's the best tool in the industry, and I highly advise using it if you don't already. Oklahoma City's defense is scary, but it will likely be focused more on Anthony Edwards and stopping him from taking over. I'm happy buying the over here.
