NBA Players Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (12/9)

Welcome to a 10-game NBA slate where I’ll provide some of my favorite player props for your liking. It’s been a successful season so far, and I’d love to keep it going. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s games as we ride into the weekend.

Kyrie Irving OVER 23.5 points (-105)

I can’t believe this number isn’t higher. Kyrie gets to go toe-to-toe with Tre Young, and I expect nothing but fireworks in this matchup. Irving has averaged 25 points a game this year, and I don’t see why that should come down.

The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet identifies this as one of the greater values on the slate, and I have to agree. Atlanta is a big pace-up spot for Brooklyn, and Irving is obviously capable of running with the best of them. Considering Brooklyn’s top-10-ranked offense and Kyrie’s numbers of late, I expect this to be an easy cover.

Khris Middleton OVER 15.5 points (-120)

It’s interesting how low some of these point totals are. Even at the odds of -120, there still is a solid value with betting the over for Middleton, considering he should be projected to tally right around 20 tonight.

Yes, Dallas will slow down the pace of play, but that has not been a problem for Middleton, who has tallied at least 15 points in four of his last six games. This game is a toss-up with the spread essentially a pick-em. The closer the game, the more minutes I imagine Middleton will gain, making this a solid play.

RJ Barrett OVER 5.5 rebounds (+105)

This one might not be as a lock as the previous two, but I definitely love the plus-money juice offered. Charlotte is a below-average rebounding team with the second-to-last offense in the league. There will be an opportunity abound for Barrett to bring in plenty of boards as he has done recently.

The Duke product is averaging over six rebounds a game in the last two weeks of play, bringing in at least six in each of his last three contests. With the number at 5.5, I have to jump on that value, especially in this spot.
