NBA Playoffs Best Bets, Picks & Predictions: Friday (4/28)

Two very exciting series could both conclude tonight. Let’s see what will be the best take for each of these matchups.

Today’s Best NBA Bets

Sacramento Kings (+255) at Golden State Warriors (-305) | O/U 235 (-110/-110)

The Kings/Warriors series has been one of the more exciting one in the playoffs. Game 5 was another close one, but any time the Kings would come within a possession, the Warriors would make a run.

The question about the Warriors on the road has been put to bed for the moment. There is a reason why they call them Splash City, and they were drenching the basket as they hit a series-high 52% from the floor.

They needed almost every one of those shots because the Kings were always within reach. De’Aaron Fox was doubtful to play with that fractured index finger, but he went out and scored a team-high 24 points 

This spread is set too high. Each team has shown throughout the series they can keep the game close, and the Kings will be able to make this another exciting ending.

Pick: Kings +7.5 (-110)

Memphis Grizzlies (+160) at Los Angeles Lakers (-190) | O/U 218.5 (-110/-110)

This is another series that has gone back and forth. The Lakers have looked dominant offensively in some games, but they’ve never been able to contain the Grizzlies on defense. Ja Morant, in Game 3, was able to help pull within single digits late in that game, while Desmond Bane has come alive with 69 points in the last two games.

If the Lakers want to close out this game in the center formally known as Staples, the role players need to step up. Austin Reaves has to continue to hit from the perimeter, D’Angelo Rusell has to rack up dimes, and Rui Hachimura has to contribute on the second unit.

Memphis has to continue to pressure the backcourt because they can’t stop Los Angeles in the paint without Steven Adams. 

The Lakers should regroup on offense, and this game will hit the over.
