Boston Celtics at Orlando Magic
The Magic got their first win of the series in Game 3. For being a young team and fairly inexperienced in the playoffs, they have been playing well throughout the series, and the Celtics have never completely dominated any game. In front of their home crowd, they can make this a competitive series if they can pull off the upset.
The best way to get momentum for a win is by getting the first points. Orlando has picked up the first basketball in two games this series, including the last matchup. The Magic have spread the first baskets amongst a few players during the regular season, with six players having at least four. Franz Wagner was one of them, finishing third on the team with six. He's been the leader in this series by grabbing both first baskets Orlando has scored. His size has been ideal in this series, and he's averaging 26.7 points in the series. He will get a chance to score the first points of the game.
Pick: Franz Wagner (+800)
Indiana Pacers at Milwaukee Bucks
The Pacers couldn't win in Game 3 and force an elimination game, but they could pull it off today and have a chance to end this series at home. They've looked great so far. Even in the Game 3 loss they shot well and scored the game’s first points. Indiana has grabbed the first basket in every game this series, which is excellent for a team that claimed only 41% of the first baskets during the regular season.
Pascal Siakam has become an important piece for the Pacers since coming over in a trade last season. He became their best player this season, leading the team in points, rebounds and first baskets (9). The Bucks have had difficulty guarding him, as he has been able to attack the lane and shoot from the perimeter. Siakam will get the ball and the opportunity to get the Pacers their first points today.
Pick: Pascal Siakam (+950)
