NBA Playoffs Parlay Odds & Picks for Saturday, May 7 (2022)

While the Heat/76ers and Suns/Mavericks series might already be over, we’ve got two doozies in Celtics/Bucks and Grizz/Warriors that could very well end up going at least six games. With all four teams winning in a game in the first two of their respective series, the attention now turns to Milwaukee and Golden State, as both teams look to their veteran superstars to get the jobs done at home.

Let’s take a closer look.

Leg #1. Bucks -2 | -110 at DK Sportsbook
After an opening game rout that had many thinking the Bucks might run away with this series, the Celtics responded in spades on Tuesday, taking Game 2 109-86 in Milwaukee. Scoring a game-high 30 points, Jaylen Brown was dominant on both sides of the ball, as the absence of Khris Middleton finally caught up with the reigning-champ Bucks.

Now the series heads to Milwaukee to play in front of what will surely be a raucous crowd at Fiserv Forum, as the Bucks will once again be without Middleton. Averaging 20.1 points per game this season, Middleton has become one of the most lockdown defenders in the Eastern Conference, a facet of the Bucks that Milwaukee sorely missed in their Tuesday loss. As was point production. Giannis Antetokounmpo (28) was the only Buck to score more than 19 points on the evening.

For the Celtics’, the formula of lockdown defense and the Tatum-Brown connection, who connected for 59 points, once again proved the secret sauce. Tonight, however, I like for the veteran Bucks to not panic after one of their worst offensive performances of the season on Tuesday and to get back on track at home.

Leg #2. Grizzlies +7 | -110 at DK Sportsbook
Arguably the most intriguing series remaining in these playoffs, the Warriors return home after two dog fights in Memphis that had no shortage of drama. Following a hard foul from Dillon Brooks that knocked Gary Payton III (elbow) out for the season, Brooks will be suspended for this game as the team is already dealing with the absence of Steve Adams (illness).

While the Grizzlies will undoubtedly miss Brooks on the defensive end, it’s worth noting he combined for just 8 points through the first two, while Adams has missed both. Averaging 40.5 points per game, Ja Morant has had no issue picking up the slack while playing 40 minutes per game thus far.

Despite the Splash Brothers (Curry & Thompson) almost certainly getting it going tonight at home, I like Morant to lead the way for a young Grizzlies team who seemingly has thrived off chaos all season long.
