NBA Playoffs Parlay Odds & Picks for Wednesday, May 11 (2022)

The Western Conference could very well take one step closer to being decided tonight in Memphis, as the Warriors look to close out the Grizzlies on their home floor. Elsewhere, the Bucks/Celtics series returns to Boston as the 2-2 gridlock will be broken in one form or another.

Let’s take a look at both games and see where the value remains.

Leg #1. Bucks +5.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Al Horford returned from the dead in Game 4 for the Celtics, who evened the series in Milwaukee on Monday night with a 116-108 win as the veteran scored 30 points in the starting lineup. All-Star Jayson Tatum added another 30, as the Celtics’ bench got just 11 points on the night, all from Derrick White.

For the Bucks, the bench production, or lack thereof, was also an issue, as it combined for just 20 points. A bigger issue, however, has been the inability of anyone not named Giannis Antetokounmpo to get rolling, as the big man dropped another 34 points on Monday with little support around him.

In desperate need of a spark off the bench to keep pace in this series as the Bucks await the return of Khris Middleton, I think that’s exactly what we get in this one from Grayson Allen. After a strong first series averaging over 13 points per game, Allen has struggled so far this series averaging less than half of that (5.75). I expect some regression sooner or later, and for this to be the perfect game for Allen to get back on track and help keep this one close.

Leg #2. Grizzlies +3.5| -110 at DK Sportsbook

Now 12-0 in the playoffs while filling in for head coach Steve Kerr (COVID), Mike Brown in the coaching box will be the least of the Warriors’ concerns tonight in Memphis. More of their focus, I’d presume, will be on getting former league-MVP Steph Curry going early, as he struggled over the first three-quarters of Game 4 before scoring 18 in the final eight minutes.

For the Grizzlies, Ja Morant will be out once again in this one with a bone bruise suffered in Game 3. While the Grizzlies were able to withstand the pressure from the Warriors without him for most of Monday’s game, staying well within the 10-point spread, his presence late was sorely missed as the Warriors stormed back from being 12-points down early in the fourth quarter.

Now back in front of their home fans in what should be an electric FedEx Forum, I like for the Grizzlies to once again have enough throughout the night to keep this one close; potentially even forcing a Game 7 back in San Francisco with what would be a questionable Morant.
