Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 55-69 (-16.92 units)

Naz Reid Over 4.5 Rebounds (+124)

Reid had just two rebounds in 19 minutes in Game 1 against the Suns. He averaged 24.1 minutes per game during the regular season, but he will likely continue to see his minutes slightly reduced during the postseason as rotations change.

That said, Reid had faced the Suns three times during the regular season and never pulled down fewer than four rebounds. In early April, he had 11 rebounds in a game against them. The Timberwolves hold their opponents to the lowest shooting percentage in the league. That will help Reid even if he plays under 20 minutes again.

Malik Beasley Under 12.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

Beasley narrowly cleared this number in Game 1, scoring nine points and pulling down four rebounds. Still, Beasley has been far from impressive against the Pacers this season. He’s scored under 10 points in four of his six games against them.

However, Beasley’s point total is set at 8.5 tonight, and taking under that is a bit of a risk. Taking him under 3.5 rebounds is priced at -190. Therefore, the best value is taking him to go under the total listed for this combo prop. After all, his ceiling and average are both very low against the Pacers.

Luka Doncic Under 9.5 Assists (-130)

The price for this under is expensive, but it’s fair considering the situation and how Doncic has played against the Clippers this season. Doncic is averaging 9.8 assists per game, second in the NBA. However, in the postseason, he is the player the Mavericks will rely on to score the most. In Game 1, he attempted 26 shots, scored 33 points and assisted on just six baskets.

While he could look to pass more in this contest, his season-long stats against the Clippers suggest otherwise. In three regular-season games against them, he combined for just 20 assists. While he did have one game with 10 assists, he had six or fewer in the other two. In a low-scoring game, Doncic will do more scoring than passing.
