NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bets, Odds & Picks: Monday (5/12)
There will be two Game 4 contests tonight, as the New York Knicks host the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Will Jayson Tatum do enough to help his Celtics even up the series at 2-2? Or will Karl-Anthony Towns and company move one win closer to a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals? And in the night game, will Julius Randle continue to find his teammates at a high rate?
Here are the three best NBA player props for Monday, May 12th.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jayson Tatum Over 3.5 Made Three-Pointers (+120)
Jayson Tatum went 5-of-9 from deep in Game 3, marking his second game in this series with at least four made three-pointers. The only time he failed to make at least four three-pointers, he shot just 1-of-5 from deep, as he scored just 13 points.
What's been most interesting about Tatum's performance in this series is that he has yet to score more than 23 points in a game, which is well below his season average of 26.8 points per contest, but he's still made plenty of shots from beyond the arc. He's also shooting 34.5% from deep, which is right in line with his regular-season average of 34.3%.
Tatum has attempted 29 three-pointers in this series already, averaging 9.7 per game. In the first round against the Orlando Magic, he attempted at least eight in three of the four games. Look for him to continue to put up such a high volume of threes that even if he shoots poorly he will still hit this over.
Karl-Anthony Towns 13+ Rebounds (+115)
Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 15 rebounds per game in this series against the Celtics, and he's pulled down at least 13 boards in each game. Dating back to the regular season, he's now grabbed at least 13 rebounds against the Celtics in his last five games. His high during that stretch is 18.
Towns averaged 12.8 rebounds per game during the regular season, so asking him to hit this high number doesn't even require him to do anything out of the ordinary. While he does have two single-digit rebounding efforts against the Celtics this season, the most recent performance with such a stat line came on February 8th. The fact that we're still getting better than +100 odds for him to hit this total is too good to pass up.
Julius Randle Under 5.5 Assists (+124)
Julius Randle has been excellent this series, dishing out at least 11 assists in back-to-back games. He now has at least six assists in all three of his games, so it may be a little surprising to see me recommending this under as one of my plays of the game. However, the price is fantastic and, eventually, Randle is going to revert to his season average, which is just 4.7 assists per game.
In the first round of the playoffs, Randle dished out more than five assists once in five games. If you're thinking the Warriors are just a good matchup for him, the regular season proves otherwise. In four regular-season games against the Warriors, Randle had four or fewer assists three times. And he never dished out more than six assists in any of those games. His most recent two performances are just blips, so take advantage of oddsmakers overreacting.
