Sunday’s Best NBA Playoffs Prop Bets

Jayson Tatum OVER 29.5 (-104)

The Celtics looked dead in the water for most of game 6, including Jayson Tatum, but he went off in the fourth quarter and carried the Celtics on the road to force a game 7. Tatum went 1-for-13 in the first three quarters but blew up for 16 points in the fourth, including 4-of-5 from three.

Tatum must be a factor in a pivotal game, and we’ve seen he’s been their best offensive option throughout the year and the playoffs. While he can take care of Boston‘s scoring from the perimeter, they need Jaylen Brown to make it to the basket. The Celtics went with the bigger starting lineup with Robert Williams and Al Horford, and I expect it to happen again.

While I like the Celtics to have contributions from their entire lineup, Tatum will have the largest impact. He’s gone for over 30 in two of the two games at home in this series, and the one where he didn’t was because he played just 19 minutes due to foul trouble.

Joel Embiid OVER 10.5 Rebounds (-132)

For the 76ers to win, they must give Joel Embiid the ball. He finished with 26 points and ten rebounds but did not touch the ball in the last four minutes of the Game 6 loss. He’s your MVP. That’s the guy who needs the ball when the game is close.

The presence of Williams and Horford in the paint was affecting Philly’s ability to drive to the basket. The Sixers will need to figure out how to get Marcus Smart off the ball and have Tyrese Maxey, James Harden, or PJ Tucker hit shots on the perimeter.

This is an opportunity for Embiid to clean up on the glass. Even with that bigger Boston lineup, Embiid still finished with ten rebounds and will go over that in the season’s biggest game.
