NBA Playoffs Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions: Sunday (Heat vs. Celtics)

The Celtics have a big deficit to overcome if they want to return to the NBA Finals. This will be a tough challenge as they head on the road against Miami, who are playing well. Let’s look at some players that may or may not make an impact.

Sunday’s Best NBA Playoffs Prop Bets

Malcolm Brogdon UNDER 17.5 Points/Assists (-120)

The Celtics have back-to-back losses for the first time in the playoffs, and it doesn’t help they are going on the road. They’ve had strong starts in both games, but Miami has been able to make adjustments and come roaring back in the second half to have the 2-0 series advantage.

One player that Celtics have been dependent on is Malcolm Brogdon. He’s recently been great off the bench, averaging 15 points in 30.5 minutes. The oddsmakers are getting a little too generous with his totals, and 17.5 for his points/assists prop is too high to grab the over.

Bam Adebayo OVER 28.5 Points/Rebounds (-115)

The Heat continues their magical run by making it this far as the eighth seed. They’ve always had an excellent defense, but the offense has stepped up, going from averaging a league-worst 109.5 points to 113.8 in the playoffs.

Jimmy Butler is getting most of the attention for the Heat’s offense, but Bam Adebayo is playing well by averaging 18.5 points and 9.6 rebounds and has at least 20 points and eight rebounds in three straight. One difference we saw from Game 1 to 2 was that Boston went with the smaller lineup and cut Al Horford’s and Robert Williams’ minutes. This gave Adebayo a size advantage in the paint, and he took advantage. Although the Celtics didn’t win, they were more successful at defending Miami, and that’s why they’ll continue with that game plan helping Adebayo to go over again.
