NBA Playoffs Player Props Bet Picks & Predictions: Friday (4/28)

The NBA Playoffs are in full swing! This is where the money is made. Remember to shop around for the best odds for these bets to get the best EV over the long term. With two games today, I will give a trifecta of props for each game.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 6-3
Season: 34-32 (+5.6% ROI)

Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors

If there’s anytime to go down with the ship in betting overs, it is this matchup.

Golden State paces the league in pace of play. This is known. The Kings also rank 25th in defensive efficiency. The books obviously know all this, and we have accrued some solid data between these two teams throughout this series.

But I feel as if this game needs a “win-or-go-home” boost. Harrison Barnes is projected at 16.5 points, so to see his prop at 13.5 is a steal and a half. Golden State’s defense is nothing to write home about, and he is due for some bounce back.

Sabonis going over his rebound, assist combo prop is the best bet on the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet for today’s slate. I trust that. And how can you not trust Steph Curry? His scoring prop is a bit too high for my taste, so I am pivoting to his assist total instead. I will be putting one unit on each play.

Memphis Grizzlies at Los Angeles Lakers

Playing at home, in an elimination game, as a 4.5-point favorite, the Lakers should take care of business tonight. But don’t count out the two-seed with some fight left.

Tillman hasn’t exactly been great this series, with one 22-point effort but otherwise staying in the shadows. He averaged 10-plus points a game over the final two months of the season, so he should regress back to that, and 8.5 points for his prop is simply too low.

I feel similarly about Jackson Jr. and see his minutes get a small boost, especially if this game is close late. He’s a consistent double-figure scorer, so I feel solid about his ability to reach 18 points.

And how can you not bet a LeBron James prop in this game, right? I will be putting one unit on each play.
