Cleveland Cavaliers at Indiana Pacers

The first two games of this series have been thrilling, resulting in a very unexpected 2-0 lead for Indiana. As for Game 3, we are once again looking forward to what should be a potentially back-and-forth and tight battle for the opportunity to advance further into the playoffs.
The Pacers have hosted the Cavs on two occasions this season - each team came away with a victory. The importance of this contest certainly will not be lost on Cleveland, who needs to even the series, despite the possibility of once again being without Darius Garland, De'Andre Hunter and Evan Mobley.
Cleveland has won 14 out of their last 20 road games, with a 2-0 record this postseason. The Cavs have won 66% of the time after a loss this season. Cleveland looks to be in a fantastic bounce-back spot tonight. With the lingering injuries, however, they are going to have to dig deep to get their first win of the series.
The Cavs are averaging 121.9 points over seven playoff contests and have exceeded 114.5 points in six out of the seven games. Cleveland is shooting 47.3% from the field over that span, while knocking down over 16 three-pointers each game. The Cavs are scoring 114.5 points over the last 10 contests played at home. They have cleared the 119.5 point threshold for tonight in 15 out of their last 20 contests.
Jarrett Allen has recorded a double-double in four out of six postseason contests, including a 22 and 12 performance in the previous contest against Indiana. Allen is averaging 10.8 points, with 9.8 boards over the last five road games, despite only playing a combined 30 minutes in two of those contests. The Cleveland center tallied 40 double-doubles in the regular season.
Donovan Mitchell is averaging a powerful 40.5 points with 6.5 assists and five boards on a combined 34.8 minutes on the floor over the first two contests against the Pacers. The veteran guard has exceeded a combined 40.5 points + rebounds + assists in four out of the six playoff games played, while shooting 47.3% from the field. Mitchell has recorded at least 30 combined points + rebounds + assists in the previous three games played against Indiana.
Aaron Nesmith has been a fantastic presence for the Pacers to start this series and has played a pivotal role in both of the previous contests. The Indiana small forward is averaging 15.6 points, along with six rebounds and 1.2 assists over the previous 10 contests. When playing at home, the counting stats slightly decrease to 15.3 points, 5.3 boards and 1.1 assists per game.
Nesmith has reached 15+ points + rebounds + assists in eight out of the last 10 games played at home. The five-year veteran is posting an average of 16.3 points, 6.3 boards and 1.3 dimes during the playoffs.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets were obliterated in Game 2 against Oklahoma City. Now back on their home floor, Denver looks to once again take the lead in this series. The Nuggets have won three out of the last four matchups against the Thunder; however, when playing at Ball Arena, the last five games have not gone so well for Denver.
Oklahoma City has won four of the previous five games when on the road against Denver, with an 8.4 point differential over that span. The Thunder have lost only once in six playoff contests so far, and have won five consecutive games on the road.
The Nuggets have scored more than 113.5 points in four out of their last six home games, while shooting 50.1% from the field over that span. Denver is averaging 117 points in the previous six games on their home floor and have scored at least 120 points in consecutive contests.
Denver finished the regular season with the third-highest points-per-game average (120.6). That number improves to 122.8 when playing at home. If the Nuggets are to keep this close at all, they will have to score way more than in the previous contest. We feel Denver scores at least 114 points tonight.
Nikola Jokic is averaging 29.7 points, 12.1 rebounds and 10 assists over the last 15 games played at Ball Arena. The Nuggets center has recorded a triple-double in six out of his previous eight home games. Jokic has reached double digits in points, rebounds and assists in three out of four home playoff games. The reigning MVP is averaging 26.2 points, 15.2 rebounds and 9.7 assists in six matchups against Oklahoma City on the season.
Fun fact: Nikola Jokic has the second-most steals throughout the playoffs, with 18 in nine games played. The Denver center is averaging 2.1 steals over the last 20 games and has recorded at least one steal in 19 out of the 20 contests. Jokic has finished with a steal in all six matchups this season against the Thunder.
