As we push forward into the second round of the 2024-2025 NBA playoffs, we'll be breaking down the two games across The Association this evening. The Pacers took down Game 1 of the series on the road against Cleveland, which means the Cavs will be looking to exact all kinds of revenge.
Without any further preamble, let's dive right into our same-game parlay (SGP) picks and predictions for Tuesday, May 6th.
Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers
- Leg 1: Cavaliers Moneyline (-455)
- Leg 2: Cavaliers Team Total Over 119.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Donovan Mitchell 30 Points + Rebounds (-245)
- Leg 4: Ty Jerome 20+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-235)
- Leg 5: Ty Jerome 10+ Points (-450)
- Leg 6: Ty Jerome 3+ Rebounds (-270)
The first game of this series was an unexpected thriller of a contest, complete with excitement, tension and a twist ending. As for Game 2, we are once again looking forward to what should be a potentially back-and-forth battle for the opportunity to advance further through the playoffs.
The Cavs have hosted the Pacers on three occasions this season, and have fallen short of victory in each of those contests. The importance of this contest certainly will not be lost on Cleveland, who will need to even the series, despite questionable tags for both Darius Garland and Evan Mobley.
Cleveland has won 15 out of their last 29 games played at home, with a 2-1 record in this postseason. The Cavs have won four out of their last five playoff games, and have won 66% of the time after a loss this season. Cleveland looks to be in a fantastic bounce-back spot tonight to even up the series.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have successfully scored in bunches all season long, and it has carried over into the first five games of the playoffs. The Cavs are averaging 123.2 points over five playoff contests and failed to exceed 119.5 points just once. Cleveland is shooting 50.5% from the field.
The Cavs averaged 119.8 points over their last 10 home contests, and have cleared tonight’s 119.5 point threshold in six of their last 10 contests.
Donovan Mitchell is averaging over 27 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in his previous 10 home games. The veteran guard has exceeded 30+ combined points + rebounds in eight of those games, while shooting 45.9% from the field. Mitchell recorded at least 30 combined points + rebounds in four of his previous five games against Indiana.
The Cavs seemingly struck gold with the addition of Ty Jerome. His impact on the floor cannot be overstated, especially in the latter stages of the season. Jerome is averaging 18.5 points, 4.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds over the previous 19 contests. When playing at home, the scoring numbers slightly improve to 18.7 points.
The spark off the bench for Cleveland has exceeded 20+ combined points + rebounds + assists in seven out of the last 10 games played at home. Jerome has averaged 22.5 points, seven assists and 2.5 boards in the last two games against the Pacers.
Jerome has pulled down at least three rebounds in all five playoff games and seven out of the last 10 contests overall. The Cleveland guard is averaging 3.4 boards over the last 10 games played at home, failing to finish with fewer than three rebounds in two of those contests.

Golden State Warriors at Minnesota Timberwolves
- Leg 1: Timberwolves Moneyline (-245)
- Leg 2: Timberwolves Team Total Over 108.5 Points (-102)
- Leg 3: Rudy Gobert 1+ Block (-238)
- Leg 4: Naz Reid 17+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Golden State has won the last three matchups against the Timberwolves. However, we feel Minnesota could be in a prime position to take advantage in the first game of the series. The Warriors are coming off a grueling seven-game series only two days ago, and they now have to travel to Minnesota. The Warriors gave up a 3-1 series advantage, costing the team an opportunity for reprieve going into the next round of the playoffs.
Golden State may have to switch up its starting lineup to keep up with the size and speed of Minnesota, which could result in chemistry issues on top of possible fatigue. The Timberwolves have won their last seven games at home, with a 14.7 point differential over that span.
The Timberwolves have scored more than 108.5 points in seven out of the last 10 games, while shooting 47.3% from the field over that span. Throughout the current seven-game win streak at home, Minnesota is averaging a powerful 120.9 points on 49.3% shooting. The Wolves went over 108.5 points in all seven games.
Stating that Rudy Gobert has a history with the Golden State Warriors would be putting it mildly. As if the energy of the playoffs does not create enough incentive, the previous interactions between the Minnesota center and the Warriors set up for what should be a very physical battle down low. A situation that could create many opportunities to block shots for the veteran big man.
Gobert has blocked at least one shot attempt in 11 out of the previous 15 home games, while averaging 1.1 blocks over that span. The Timberwolves center has swatted away one shot in the last three games and six overall.
There are very few occurrences in the NBA that build a buzz quite like Naz Reid, playing at home and fighting for the chance to move on in the playoffs. Reid is a fan favorite who has proven to be most successful in many instances this season.
The Minnesota forward has been nothing short of fantastic at home over the last 10 games, averaging 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in only 24.2 minutes on the floor. Reid has shot over 57% from the field while knocking down two three-pointers in back-to-back contests at home. In the previous 10 games at home, Reid has failed to go over 17+ combined points + rebounds + assists in only two out of the previous 10 contests at the Target Center.
