Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets

The Warriors and Rockets have played an exciting series despite Golden State’s 3-1 series lead.

The Rockets should have won the last game. They were +20 in points in the paint and held the Warriors to just 37% from three. The biggest aspect that hurt them was free throws. They went just 19-for-31 (61.3%) from the stripe. The Warriors are aware that if they get physical and send them to the line, it's less risky than giving them an easy basket.

Golden State was great at spreading the ball, playing isolation, getting pressure on the ball and getting quality looks throughout the game. There's no doubt Jimmy Butler provides a spark when he's on the floor. He was key in the Game 4 win with 27 points and scored the team's last six points.

It looks like the Warriors know how to counteract the Rockets' frontcourt presence. As long as they get clean looks from the perimeter, they'll control this game.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Lakers

The Timberwolves are one win away from pulling off a first-round upset against the Lakers. The question people are asking about Game 4 is why didn't JJ Redick make any substitutions in the second half? He ran with the same lineup, and they were gassed towards the end of the game. This resulted in Minnesota outscoring Los Angeles 32-19 in the fourth quarter.

You have to wonder how it will impact a 40-year-old LeBron James and Luka Doncic, who played Game 3 with a stomach bug. However, the extra day off should help.

It isn't surprising that the Lakers don't have a strong bench - a reason why they pushed their starters like they did. They also lack size, which heavily favors the bigger lineup of the Timberwolves.

It also doesn't hurt to have Anthony Edwards, who is having another spectacular playoff run. He's dropped 22+ points in each game of this series and pushed the T-Wolves in Game 4 with 43 points. Edwards is their leader, but this entire lineup contributes with four total players averaging double-digit points.

The rest will heavily favor the Lakers at home, and we have to assume Reddick will make better lineup changes in this game. The Lakers can bounce back and breathe some life into this series.
