NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions: Wednesday (3/29)

We’re getting down to the final stages of the regular season, but we still have 10 games on the slate this Wednesday, and player news and minutes is as uncertain as ever right now. There are plenty of big-name stars returning from missed time as of late, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, and Karl-Anthony Towns. There are plenty of other stars questionable to play today, like Joel Embiid, James Harden, Jimmy Butler, Lauri Markkanen, Jalen Brunson, and Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. This is all just a reminder to keep an eye out for player news, as always.

The PrizePicks record moves to 23-20 after Monday’s 1-2 results.

Wednesday’s Best NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions

*This article was written the night prior*

Here are the best PrizePicks plays for NBA action on Wednesday, March 29.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 17.5 Points

KAT is back and should have no qualms about getting over this line against the Suns. He had a poor shooting night (5-16 with 14 points) against Draymond Green and the Warriors, but he played 32 minutes and sat out the last game, so he should be fresh and ready to play around 30+ minutes again.

With Deandre Ayton focused on Rudy Gobert, it’s hard to see Torey Craig or Kevin Durant (if he plays) slowing Towns down enough for this to go under. KAT has scored 18 or more points in 16/23 games this year. I don’t mind Anthony Edwards over 22.5 points as well, considering this line has moved to 19.5 at PrizePicks for Towns.

Luka Doncic Over 30.5 Points

Considering this is -140 at DraftKings, and the line is set at 31.5 at FanDuel, there is value to be had at PrizePicks for Luka Doncic tonight. The Mavericks are in must-win mode, so Luka will be firing on all cylinders to get Dallas a dub in Philly. El Matador put up 42 points against the Sixers earlier this month and, for the season, is averaging closer to 33 points per game.

Doncic is still scoring at will, even with Kyrie in the picture too. Excluding the games in which he left early or the game was in a blowout, Luka has cleared this in 6/9 games, with Irving averaging nearly 34 points per game. This should be the game of the night, and it airs on ESPN at 7:30 Eastern Time.

Zach LaVine Over 26.5 Points

The Lakers and Bulls met just three days ago, and LaVine put on a clinic against Los Angeles. He shot 13-19 from the field and finished with a game-high 32 points in the Bulls’ rout over the Lakers. LaVine is getting used to being the scoring leader of the night as of late and has now cleared this in 13 of his last 19 games averaging nearly 29 PPG.

He torched Austin Reaves last game, and it’s hard to see anyone on the Lakers’ side slowing his roll either. Vanderbilt will likely match up with DeRozan, AD is on Vucevic, and LeBron is coming off an injury that sat him out for the past month, so who knows how effective he really is on defense.
