Thursday’s Top PrizePicks Plays

Here are the best PrizePicks plays for Thursday, February 16th’s NBA action.

Kristaps Porzingis Over 23.5 Points (-110)

Of the six teams in action Thursday night, the Wizards are the least likely to be looking ahead to the break. They’re currently in 10th place in the East. Even with a loss, the Wizards would still remain in that spot, but it would be nice for them to go into the break with a two-game lead for the final playoff spot.

All of this means that Porzingis will see his normal minutes in tonight’s game. He has scored at least 28 points in five games this February, and he has gone over 30 in four of his seven games this month. Only take his points prop, however. His points plus rebounds line is listed at 32.5, and there isn’t much value there. He has only pulled down 10 or more rebounds twice in his last nine games.

Paul George Over 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-106)

Paul George was terrible from deep in Tuesday night’s win over the Golden State Warriors. He was just 1-5 from beyond the arc, marking his first game without multiple three-pointers made since January 22. George has made at least three three-pointers in seven of his last 10 games.

Tonight, he will take on a Phoenix Suns team that is smack in the middle of the league in three-point shooting defense. For the entire season, George is averaging 2.9 made three-pointers per game. Only once all season has he had back-to-back games of one or fewer three-pointers made. Look at his average, not what he did in his last game, and take the Over.

Mike Conley Under 11.5 Points (-124)

The Wizards are allowing an average of 113.5 points per game, so while the Timberwolves should get some points on the board, that doesn’t mean they’re going to come from Conley. In his two games with Minnesota, Conley has scored a total of 21 points, topping 11.5 points in his last game. He still only scored 12 in that contest, while his team won 124-121.

Conley is not an important scorer to this offense right now, and he only averaged 8.7 field goal attempts per game. Shooting just 41% from the field on the season, look for him to struggle to get into double-digits tonight as he still searches for his role in the Timberwolves’ offense.
