Friday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Minnesota Timberwolves at Miami Heat
- Leg 1: Timberwolves Moneyline (-115)
- Leg 2: Over 216 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Timberwolves Team Total Over 109.5 Points (-118)
- Leg 4: Julius Randle 4+ First-Quarter Points (-235)
Miami currently has several players listed as questionable for this contest, which will be their first game of a back-to-back. Jaime Jaquez Jr., Tyler Herro, Alec Burks and Andrew Wiggins all have questions surrounding their availability tonight. The Timberwolves could be without Rudy Gobert for this contest, yet he is the only player currently with a questionable tag.
With the Timberwolves getting back to somewhat full strength, this could be a tough outing for the Heat. Minnesota has held opponents to only 109.1 points per game on the season while scoring over 117 points in their last five contests. Miami is 4-6 over their last 10 games and could be without one or two high-volume scoring options.
The total for this contest is six points lower than the combined average for both teams on the season. This suggests sportsbooks expect the Heat to be short-handed for this game. These two teams rank in the bottom five in pace, which also heavily impacts the reasoning behind such a low total.
These two teams are scoring 228.1 points combined over their last 10 games and over 230 in the last five contests. The Timberwolves and Heat rank in the top 12 in offensive rating over the last five games and appear to be in good standing to clear 216 combined points tonight.
Minnesota has scored at least 110 points in eight of their last nine games, averaging 118.9 points per game over that span. The Timberwolves rank in the top half of the league over the last five games in effective field-goal percentage as well as true shooting percentage. Opponents are 5-1-1 against their team total when Miami plays at home as an underdog. Minnesota has cleared their team total in 50% of games when playing on the road as a favorite.
Julius Randle is averaging 5.5 points in the first quarter of games this season and has averaged eight first-quarter points over his last seven games. Randle has not played fewer than eight minutes in the first quarter in the previous nine contests. The Minnesota forward has scored at least seven points in the first quarter of the last three games and could see increased opportunities if Rudy Gobert does not play tonight.

New York Knicks at Los Angeles Clippers
- Leg 1: Clippers Moneyline (-290)
- Leg 2: Under 220 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Knicks Team Total Under 106.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 4: Mikal Bridges Under 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)
Norman Powell is once again out for this contest, along with Ben Simmons and Derrick Jones Jr. New York could be without Jalen Brunson tonight after suffering an ankle injury in overtime last night against the Lakers. Considering this will be a back-to-back for the Knicks, it wouldn't be a surprise if additional starters may not be available. The team total for New York is currently extremely low, which may be a bit of foreshadowing in regards to the projected starting lineup.
We expect the Clippers to have the rest advantage in this contest, as well as the stronger lineup due to availability. Los Angeles wins 79.09% of their games when the team plays at home as a favorite. This will be the fourth game out of their last five that New York is playing on the road. The Knicks are coming off of a heartbreaking overtime loss yesterday. Without their best players available, it may be difficult to find success once again tonight.
Los Angeles favors the under in 55.6% of their contests played at home as the favorite and 57.1% of the time when playing with a rest advantage. New York has the eighth-highest defensive rating over the last five games and has allowed only 110.2 points per game over that span.
New York needed an extra five minutes of overtime basketball to reach 110 points last night. As we keep hammering home, they will possibly be missing the services of one or more players this evening. The Knicks will have to rely heavily on Karl-Anthony Towns for scoring this evening. The question is will that be enough to clear 106.5 points?
New York is averaging 108.2 points over their last five games and there is a strong possibility of missing Brunson’s 26.3 points per game from their lineup. The Clippers are ranked fourth in defensive efficiency this season and only allow 106.1 points per game when playing at home.
Mikal Bridges is averaging 8.7 points with 3.7 rebounds over the last three contests while shooting 37.5% from the field and 16.7% from beyond the arc. The Knicks forward may see a few extra scoring opportunities, but he's working through a shooting slump.
Opportunity hasn't been the problem as of late, with New York going to overtime in two of their last three games. Bridges has only recorded a combined 19 points + rebounds in two of his last six games. Due to his shooting woes, we feel Bridges may fall short of the suggested total for combined points + rebounds in this contest.
