NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (2/23)

Welcome back from the All-Star break for a nine-game NBA slate where I’ll provide my favorite same-game parlays for your liking. The players are rested and ready to reload, and so am I. It’s been a successful season so far, and I’d love to keep it going. Remember to shop around for the best odds and that these SGPs are going to hit less often with the longer odds.

Thursday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlays

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers

After some time off, the re-tooled Lakers squad that has caused so many problems already this season should be ready to lock in for the second half of the season. At least, that’s the hope.

What D’Angelo Russell does is make this offense a lot more dynamic. I still think the books seem hesitant to bump up the props all too much, but I’m trying to get ahead of the curve here, especially against one of the fastest teams in the nation that is playing shorthanded.

While it may be a small sample size, Russell has scored at least 15 points in each of his three games in a Lakers uniform. After averaging nearly 18 a game all season, I imagine that number is due for an uptick with a bit more time under his belt in LA. Davis has comfortably averaged 2.5 assists a game, and with more possessions, I love his ability to clear that number at plus money. I’ll be putting a single unit on this parlay.

Parlay Odds: +692

San Antonio Spurs at Dallas Mavericks

Speaking of re-tooled offenses, the Mavericks should take care of business tonight as a double-digit favorite against the Spurs at home.

While this is, of course, a big pace-up spot for Dallas, I simply don’t see the usage there for Green to reach 11.5 points. In his most recent two games, he’s only scored six points each contest, and he’s averaged just 9.2 points per game all season. I see him continue to be a role player whose assists numbers might see an uptick.

Sochan is currently questionable tonight with a left quad injury, so obviously, monitor that situation, but generally speaking, I’m taking the Spurs’ unders tonight. Dallas is one of the slowest-paced teams in the nation. On the road as such a big underdog, I don’t expect a bunch of scoring to be done here for San Antonio. I really like the plus-odds for Sochan’s assists and expected Johnson’s scoring prop to be closer to 20. Even at -111, it still reads to me as a solid value.

Parlay Odds: +653

New Orleans Pelicans at Toronto Raptors

To wrap this combination of SGP, I’m going with an uncorrelated play to add a bit more value for Pelicans teammates to go over and under their respective points total.

Simply put, I expect Ingram to have a tougher time with Siakam lined up against him than Valanciunas will have down low against Jakob Poeltl. The Pelicans center has averaged nearly 16 points a game in the last two months, so 14 should be easily doable. Ingram, on the other hand, has averaged 22.4 on the season and is due for some regression after recent play.

With this game in Toronto, I do expect The Pels to struggle a bit offensively and for Siakam to have plenty of boards. This is also a time where I simply trust the projections as the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet gives a +31 percent expected value to Siakam going over his rebounding total.

Parlay Odds: +653
