NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (11/17)

A friendly reminder when betting on these same game parlays is to keep track of injury news as the day progresses. A lot can change in the blink of an eye and will help you become a sharper bettor. With a shorter slate, there are fewer options to choose from, but here are my two SGPs for Thursday.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Portland Trail Blazers

  • Leg 1: Josh Hart 10+ points (-115)
  • Leg 2: Kevin Durant UNDER 30.5 points (-105)
  • Leg 3: Damian Lillard OVER 24.5 points (-105)

I’ll keep this one simple. In a pace-up spot for Portland against an average defense, I trust their scorers to reach their point totals.

For Brooklyn, they’re facing a top-five defense in a pace-down spot. So I am less trusting of their scorers to reach their point totals.

Hart, Durant, and Lillard were simply the players I see as the most value with where their numbers lie, but you can mix and match this one if you are feeling a bit riskier based on my strategy here.

Parlay Odds: +625

San Antonio Spurs vs. Sacramento Kings

  • Leg 1: Devin Vassell OVER 4.5 rebounds (+135)
  • Leg 2: Jakob Poeltl OVER 13.5 points (+105)
  • Leg 3: De’Aaron Fox OVER 24.5 points (-115)

First of all, this should be an awesome game. Both teams rank in the top ten in pace of play and Sacramento’s offense has been stellar in the early portion of the season.

The books are still behind on Vassell, and he’s made me a lot of money because of it. Sacramento has a bottom-half rebound rate to pair with a 26th-ranked defense. So not only do I expect a lot of scoring, but Vassell should get plenty of chances to secure boards with how much he’s been on the floor. 

Fox has simply been electric averaging 24.6 points per game this season and this is a great opportunity to shine. His usage rate has hovered around 30 percent of late and he’s posted 30+ point games multiple times over the past few weeks. He might have another one here tonight.
