NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (12/20)

Golden State Warriors @ New York Knicks

  • Leg 1: Knicks -4.5 (-110)
  • Leg 2: Kevon Looney o8.5 Rebounds (+104)
  • Leg 3: Jalen Brunson Points+Assists+Rebounds u33.5 (-115)

It is not wise to blindly bet trends, but sometimes such streaks are so damning that we can’t help but do so. Golden State is 4-13 ATS on the road this season (second worse only to Memphis), and the Knicks are 8-1-1 ATS over their past ten games. I don’t suspect the Warriors to end their road woes here, especially with the absence of Steph Curry.

The Knicks rely on second-chance points as much as any team in the NBA, meaning we likely see a concerted effort by the Warriors to attack the defensive glass. Further, Looney has averaged 10.1 rebounds in the month of December, and I like him to cross this number once again.

Brunson has scored 30 points twice in his past three games, and such recent scoring has inflated this number– Brunson has only averaged 27 PAR this month. The Knicks likely don’t ask Brunson to be the focal point of their offense tonight as he falls Under this prop.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Denver Nuggets

  • Leg 1: Grizzlies Moneyline (-120)
  • Leg 2: Jaren Jackson Jr. u16.5 Points (-113)
  • Leg 3: Ja Morant o28.5 Points (-115)

There is a decent chance the Nuggets will be without Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. Such absences have already moved this line Memphis’ way, but likely not enough if the Nuggets’ stars do sit. Even still, Memphis is a good enough team to beat Denver at full strength– feel comfortable backing them on the moneyline.

Jackson Jr. has been terrific this season but has not been called upon to carry the load offensively. There are games in which Jackson is absent on that end of the court, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him be so once again.

While we’re out on Jackson Jr., we’re in on Ja Morant. The All-Star was tossed from the game in his most recent action, and we like him to make up for that scoring tonight. Morant tends to play his best ball on primetime, and the Nuggets have one of the worst defenses in the NBA against opposing point gaurds.
