New York Knicks @ Utah Jazz

  • Leg 1: Jazz -3.5 (-110)
  • Leg 2: Lauri Markkanen Points o19.5 (-129)
  • Leg 3: Jalen Brunson Assists o5.5 (-160)

The Jazz have been the surprise of the season so far, and I doubt the Knicks have the legs to keep up with them on the road. Utah is not going to let the Knicks dictate the pace in this game, and this line should move their way before tip-off.

Markkanen, Utah’s leading scorer,  is averaging 21.8 a game, and 23.6 at home. In a game with a total north of 230, expect Markkanen to get his own.

Similarly, a game with such a high total needs contribution from both sides. Brunson is the Knicks’ leader in Assists averaging nearly seven per game, and it is reasonable to expect a heavy dosage of the first-year Knick in this game. Despite the juice (-160), this is a fair number to add to this same game parlay.

Brooklyn Nets @ Sacramento Kings

  • Leg 1: Under 224.5 (-110)
  • Leg 2: Kevin Huerter Points o13.5 (-113)
  • Leg 3: Nic Claxton Reboundthes o8.5 (-133)

The Nets have gone under the closing line in seven of their last eight, with the outlier being their contest in LA on Sunday. Even still, if one had been quick to bet the Total as the line came out the Under would have cashed (Opened at 219.5, Closed at 217.5). Let’s beat any potential line movement, and continue to ride the current most profitable side in the NBA.

Heurter is averaging 17.67 points per game at home and would have crossed this number in all but one of the Kings’ six home games. It is admittedly counterintuitive to endorse a player’s over in a game in which fewer points are expected, but the oddsmakers have been asleep at the wheel when setting Huerter’s scoring props.

Brooklyn F Nic Claxton is averaging 9.1 boards on the season, and the Kings are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA. Additionally, Claxton has crossed this number in all but one game in which he has played at least 30 minutes this season.
