Today’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Picks

All odds via FanDuel Sportsbook

Chicago Bulls at Toronto Raptors

In what, honestly, is not the most exciting game (go look at Bulls’ Twitter) we have two slower-paced teams with a relatively low over/under with the total set at 214.5 points.

Let me start with Coby White. White has made two or more shots from deep in four of his last six games with plenty more attempted. Toronto’s middling defense does not scare me and, expected to play from behind, I see White attempting more shots from three.

With these slow-paced, defensive teams, I see value in the overs simply because the books have overcompensated. Trent Jr. is another player who has averaged 2.5 treys a game and after returning from injury, his usage has slowly increased in his last three games, making four shots from deep last game. The opportunity will be there for him.

Patrick Williams is projected at 10.1 points so taking his over is my safest play. If you care for some value, include Williams at 10+ points (+190) instead, for a higher risk, higher reward same game parlay.

Oklahoma City Thunder at New Orleans Pelicans

Life is too short to bet the under, especially with playoff basketball.

The Pelicans may boast a top-ten defense but I truly respect the Thunder and their offensive scheme. I imagine a lot of energy will be put into defending Shai Gilgeous-Alexander which will allow other OKC teammates to perform. Joe has averaged 11.7 points per game in the last two months, so I trust his ability to do it again tonight.

Herbert Jones going over his rebound prop total is one of the best bets on the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet with a 54 percent chance at hitting. At plus odds, against the 27th-ranked rebounding team in the NBA, I love that prop.

In a big pace-up spot for the Pels, I expect the increased number of possessions to truly help New Orleans score at a high clip with the biggest beneficiary being Valanciunas. This is a bit more of a value play, but I’m putting one unit on both parlays.
