Wednesday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Picks

All odds via FanDuel Sportsbook

Cleveland Cavaliers at Philadelphia 76ers

Against Cleveland, I am usually more hesitant to bet overs but in Philadelphia with what should be an awesome game, I expect the stars to shine.

Harden going over 5.5 rebounds is a solid value. He has averaged 6.0 boards a game over the past two months and there’s no reason he can’t repeat that success tonight.

Harden’s also been averaging 21.5 points per game this season and has gone over 20 points in each of his last four games. While this isn’t a remarkably sustainable accomplishment, I expect him to get plenty of playing time and usage tonight, and I like the boost from playing at home.

To go with Harden’s scoring, I’m adding the value play of Embiid going over his assist total at plus money. Again, I think this prop is too low going against the Cleveland defense, and I am simply zigging while others zag. I’ll be putting one unit on this bet.

Houston Rockets at Oklahoma City Thunder

When in doubt, fade Houston.

Now, this isn’t my official mantra but sitting dead last in the league at 13-44, it’s not a bad way to go about your betting.

Of course, the books have adjusted for this but Oklahoma City’s defense is underrated and I feel confident going with Sengun’s under assist total because he has consistently not lived up to the number of 5.5 assists the prop is set at.

What I will give Houston credit for is their ability to rebound – they are actually ranked at the top of the league in rebound rate. It’s an easy fade for Williams’ rebound prop, especially considering he’s averaged 4.1 boards a game this season.

I thought about simply taking SGA’s over point total, but there was a bit more value in having him go over 35 points. Against such a lackluster defense, I truly expect him to go off tonight and will be betting a single unit on this SGP.

Parlay Odds: +589

Miami Heat at Brooklyn Nets

Against a re-tooled Nets squad, I think the books are still trying to figure out how to handicap them. In two of three games Dinwiddie’s played, he’s scored 25 or more points, so I’m loving the plus money odds to go over 20 because they seem to trust him right away.

I also see the books boosting opponents’ props a bit much against this Nets team. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet has Gabe Vincent going under his point total as one of the best plays on the slate with an expected value of +37 percent. I trust the projections here and see similar value in taking the Butler under assists, even odd -156. This is another SGP I’ll be putting one unit on.
