Tuesday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets: Lakers vs. Clippers
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Los Angeles Lakers at Los Angeles Clippers
- Leg 1: Clippers Moneyline (-285)
- Leg 2: Clippers Over 113.5 Total Team Points (-115)
- Leg 3: Kawhi Leonard Over 17.5 Points (-120)
Taking away Anthony Davis and Max Christie from a Lakers squad that already ranks 21st in regards to defensive rating is sure to cause problems. Austin Reaves is a remarkable offensive player, however, on the opposite side of the ball, there's quite a bit to be desired. These deficiencies could be combated with Davis in the middle of the paint. Without the superstar, it's going to be a difficult task to stop the Clippers from scoring at will.
The Lakers have won four out of five games without Davis. Having said that, only one of those victories was against a team above .500. The Clippers have been victorious in four of their last six games, and have six more wins than losses on the season. When these two teams last met on January 19th, the Clippers won that game by 14 points with Anthony Davis in the game.
The defensive loss puts the Lakers in a difficult spot. The offensive contributions Davis provided were equally as important, and the team loses an average of 25.7 points to the starting lineup. Without the 134-point performance against the lowly Wizards, the Lakers are averaging 112.25 points when Davis has not been available this season.
The Clippers should have very little issue clearing 113.5 points tonight. The team is averaging 116.8 points over their last five games while shooting an insane 49.5% from the field. The Lakers allowed 118 points to the Sixers without Joel Embiid and Paul George. The Clippers are healthy and have reached 114 points or more in seven of their last twelve games.
Kawhi Leonard is averaging 19.25 points over the last eight games. Mind you, the veteran forward is still playing fewer than 30 minutes per game. Leonard has played the Lakers 16 times and is averaging 19.6 points on 48.9% shooting. Over the last three games against the Lakers, Kawhi is scoring an average of 26 points.
Parlay Odds: +382
Enjoy the games tonight, and good luck with your parlays!
