San Antonio Spurs (+130) at Oklahoma City Thunder (-155) | O/U 212.5 (-112/-108)

The Spurs and Thunder will battle in Game 7 with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line. Will it be Victor Wembanyama and San Antonio moving on to face the New York Knicks, with a championship at stake?

The Thunder won an NBA Championship last season, edging the Indiana Pacers in seven games, while the Spurs would like another crack at the Knicks after losing the NBA Cup Final in Las Vegas back in mid-December.

The Spurs posted an 118-91 victory as 3.5-point favorites, while the under (219.5) cashed in Game 6 in San Antonio. Prior to that, the Thunder won 127-114 in Game 5 as a 3.5-point favorite at Paycom Center. The home team has won the past three games, while going 4-1 straight up (SU) and against the spread (ATS) in the past five in the series.

San Antonio has dropped three of the past four appearances in a Game 7, although the Spurs have covered three in a row. The over-under has split 2-2 in their past four Game 7 appearances.

Last season, the Thunder won and covered each of their two Game 7 appearances, including a decisive game in the NBA Finals against the Indiana Pacers. Oklahoma City has won two of its past three Game 7 appearances and is a perfect 3-0 ATS during that span. The under has cashed in two of the past three Game 7 appearances.

In this postseason on the road, Wembanyama is averaging 24.4 points, 12 rebounds, 3.6 blocks, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game in seven appearances. Stephon Castle is right on his heels, averaging 22.5 points in eight road games, while averaging a team-best 7.5 assists. De’Aaron Fox is averaging 19.5 points, 6.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals in six road playoff contests.

For Oklahoma City, it’s no surprise that two-time defending MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way with 26.9 points and 7.7 assists per game in seven home postseason games. He is also averaging 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 blocks, while limiting his miscues to just 3.4 turnovers per game.

Jalen Williams (out) is second with 17.8 points per game in four home games, while Chet Holmgren has averaged 16.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, two blocks and 1.3 steals in seven home outings. Alex Caruso is good for 12.7 points per game in seven home games, all off the bench.

Isaiah Hartenstein leads the way, averaging 9.4 rebounds in seven games in front of the home fans. Williams will be sidelined due to a strained left hamstring, and the Thunder have really missed him at times in this series.

We’re going to back the Thunder to get the job done at home, as Oklahoma City earned the home-court advantage just for decisive Game 7s like this. The Spurs have struggled in Game 7s in the past, although the current roster hasn’t had anything to do with that.

Still, the Thunder knows how to win these games, winning two Game 7s on the way to last season’s championship. We’re going to go with the over, too, which is a perfect 3-0 in this series at Paycom Center.

For player props, we’ll go with the lay-up and take Wembanyama to record a double-double. While Holmgren has back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 13 points and 11 rebounds in the past two games, he is a little more of a risky play to record a double-double. But, if you play him and Wembanyama to each record double-doubles, you can help return 12 times your initial wager.

San Antonio Spurs (+130) at Oklahoma City Thunder (-155) | O/U 212.5 (-112/-108)

We’ll take out Chet Holmgren for this SGP, who is a bit risky to record a double-double. Instead, let’s roll with Isaiah Hartenstein to get to at least six rebounds.

Hartenstein grabbed 15 rebounds in his most recent home appearance and has averaged 14 rebounds in the past two games at Paycom Center.

If you want to get a little crazy, you can add an additional fifth leg, tossing Chet Holmgren’s blocks prop into the mix. If he can block at least two shots, he will help return 11 times your initial wager with this parlay.
