NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Spurs vs. Thunder (Wednesday)
Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals was a thriller, to say the least. Behind 41 points and 24 rebounds from Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs were able to spring the road upset over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Spurs did a particularly good job keeping Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in check, as he shot just 7-of-23 from the floor and finished with 24 points. So what do I expect in tonight's game? Below are my best NBA same game parlays for Wednesday, May 20th.

Spurs vs. Thunder Same Game Parlay
Leg #1: Thunder -6.5 (-110)
I think that the time off between their series against the Los Angeles Lakers and Game 1 on Monday negatively impacted the Thunder more than we realize. This team is averaging 120.6 points per game and shooting 49.7% from the floor in the postseason. Yet, they managed only 115 points despite two extra sessions on Monday, and shot just 41% from the floor.
The Thunder lost back-to-back games just five times all season. Additionally, they've lost back-to-back home games just once all year. In Game 1, Victor Wembanyama brought his best, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander struggled. Still, the Thunder very nearly won the game. I'm expecting a bigger game from Gilgeous-Alexander on Tuesday night, which will ultimately result in a comfortable win for the Thunder.
Leg #2: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 28.5 Points (-102)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot just 30.4% from the floor on Monday, his second-worst shooting performance of the entire season. His only worse performance came in Game 1 against the Phoenix Suns. He followed up that game with a 37-point outing.
Gilgeous-Alexander is shooting 48.5% in the postseason, and he shot 55.3% from the floor in the regular season. While the Spurs have been excellent defensively in the postseason, allowing just 103.5 points per game, Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 29 points in three of his five games against them this year.
This is a must-win game for the Thunder, and I expect Gilgeous-Alexander to take over like he has all season.
Leg #3: Victor Wembanyama Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+139)
If you're looking for a safe option, I recommend taking Victor Wembanyama under 13.5 rebounds. This may sound counterintuitive after his massive Game 1 effort, but he grabbed 14 or fewer rebounds in his other five games against the Thunder this season.
However, I'm going to take a riskier approach and back Wembanyama to make at least two three-pointers in this contest. He's made more than one three-pointer in just one of his games against the Thunder this season, but he's also only been shut out from beyond the arc against them once. The Spurs big man averaged 1.9 made three-pointers during the regular season, and he's averaging 1.4 in the postseason.
Though Wembanyama only made one shot from long distance in Game 1, the three-pointer was from a ridiculous depth, and I believe he will enter this game with more confidence from deep because of it.
Wembanyama only attempted two three-pointers in Game 1, but he averaged 4.7 attempts per game in his last series. I expect the Thunder to be up by a lot early, which will lead Wembanyama and the Spurs to take riskier shots throughout the game.
