NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Tuesday (1/6)

The Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves meet in a rematch of a game the Timberwolves won on Saturday. Should we expect a similar result this time around? The struggling Sacramento Kings host the Dallas Mavericks and their top-ranked three-point defense. Will Russell Westbrook and company find a way to pick up a much-needed win?

Below are the best NBA same-game parlays (SGP) for Tuesday, January 6th.

Tuesday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Heat vs. Timberwolves Same Game Parlay

Leg #1: Naz Reid Under 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-111)

Naz Reid is averaging 2.4 made three-pointers per game, and he just knocked down four against the Heat on Saturday. But Reid has failed to make a three-pointer in two of his last three games, hitting two or fewer threes in six of his last nine games. The Heat rank 21st in the league, allowing 13.9 made threes per game. While that certainly doesn't make this a bad matchup, Reid went 0-of-2 from deep against the Wizards on Sunday, who rank 26th.

Leg #2: Heat Team Total Under 115.5 Points (-105)

When these two teams played three days ago, the Heat scored 115 points, so the posted total of 115.5 indicates oddsmakers expect a similar performance tonight. But the Timberwolves have held three of their last four opponents to 115 points or fewer, and each of those performances has come on the road. The Timberwolves are allowing just 110.1 points per game at home. Even though the Heat have the third-highest scoring offense, I'll back the home team to dictate the way this game is played.

Leg #3: Kel'el Ware Over 10.5 Rebounds (+116)

Kel’el Ware only had eight rebounds on Saturday, but he has pulled down at least 12 boards in two of his last three games. Additionally, he has at least 12 rebounds in seven of his last 11 games, dating back to December 15th. The Timberwolves are good on the boards, giving up the 12th-fewest rebounds per contest. But the Heat have pulled down the eighth-most rebounds per game, and Ware leads the team with 10.6 per contest.

Parlay Odds: +550

Mavericks vs. Kings Same Game Parlay

Leg #1: Mavericks -5.5 (-105)

Not only have the Kings lost five games in a row, but they haven't been competitive in any of them. They've lost each game by at least 14 points, with three of the losses by at least 24. They did beat the Mavericks 113-107 on December 27th, but the Mavericks just took down the Rockets, the fourth-best team in the Western Conference. Until the Kings start playing competitively, I'll take their opponent to cover consistently.

Leg #2: Cooper Flagg Over 21.5 Points (-111)

Cooper Flagg has scored 15 or fewer points in three consecutive games. While he's only averaging 18.9 points per contest, he dropped 23 against the Kings the first time these two teams met, and he has scored at least 22 points in seven of his last 11 games. The Kings are allowing 122.3 points per game, which ranks fourth-worst in the NBA, and they have given up at least 120 points in four of the five games during their current losing streak.

Leg #3: Russell Westbrook Under 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-118)

Russell Westbrook is averaging 1.9 made three-pointers per game, and he knocked down five of his nine attempts from deep the first time these two teams played. But he's made just one three-pointer in back-to-back games, going 1-of-8 from deep in his last contest. The Mavericks have allowed the second-fewest three-pointers per game this season, with opponents making just 33.3% of their attempts, the worst percentage in the league.

Parlay Odds: +650
