    Charlotte Hornets (+188) at Detroit Pistons (-225) | O/U 215.5 (-110/-110)

The Hornets (3-1) and Pistons (3-1) meet at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit at 7:00 p.m. ET, as each side looks for its fourth victory of the season.

Charlotte has won each of the past two games against the Miami Heat (115-110) and Washington Wizards (110-103), and it is also 3-1 against the spread (ATS), while cashing the Under in all four games to date.

For Detroit, it suffered its first loss of the season to the defending champion New York Knicks, 111-97, at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. Now, it faces its first back-to-back situation. It is also looking to bounce back from its first non-cover, while the Under has cashed in the past two outings.

We’ll take the Hornets with the points, as that’s a tough turnaround to travel, and then face a good team, even at home. And, we’ll back the Under, as it is a perfect 4-0 for Charlotte, while cashing in the past two games for Detroit.

And, Naz Reid has been on fire to start his Charlotte career. He is averaging 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds through the first four games, with two double-doubles. He has hit at least three triples in three of the first four games, with two or more triples in each outing. With the Pistons a bit sluggish in the back-to-back situation, let’s go high on Reid’s Points + Rebounds combo.

    Parlay Odds: +502

    San Antonio Spurs (-590) at Utah Jazz (+430) | O/U 234.5 (-108/-112)

The Spurs (2-2) travel to Delta Center in Salt Lake City to meet the Jazz (1-3). And, while the records might suggest that this will be a closer game, don’t count on it.

After back-to-back losses at home against Oklahoma City and Houston at home, the Spurs found success in a 122-106 win at Dallas as a 14.5-point favorite on Saturday, and a 130-103 win at home against the lowly Sacramento Kings, covering as double-digit favorites in each of the past two games. The Over against the Kings snapped a 3-0 run to the Under for the Spurs.

For the Jazz, they nipped the New Orleans Pelicans 120-119 on Friday, but that’s their only win. They’ve dropped the pat two games at home, albeit by an average margin of defeat of 7.0 points per game (PPG). The Over/Under has split 2-2 for Utah so far, with the Jazz allowing at least 119 points in three of four outings.

There is no sense backing San Antonio straight up, costing you nearly six times your potential return. That’s a silly amount of risk. Let’s lay the points, as San Antonio has handled the teams it is supposed to handle, and rather handily, too. And, the Spurs are averaging 126.0 PPG in the past two games, so look for the Over to cash, as they’ll find the defensive struggles of the Jazz to be to their liking.

And, normally, I am not a big fan of the first basket props. But, San Antonio will go to Victor Wembanyama early and often against the Jazz, who are soft in the middle. He is going to have a monster night, starting with the first bucket of the victory.

    Parlay Odds: +1175
