Minnesota Timberwolves vs. L.A. Clippers
- Leg 1: Under 227.5 Total Points (-110)
- Leg 2: Kawhi Leonard 28+ Points (-119)
- Leg 3: First-Half Under 110.5 Points (-108)
The Clippers continue to be one of the more fascinating stories of the NBA season. Starting the season with a brutal 6-21 record, they completely turned their season around, going 26-11 since. Their .703 winning percentage is the third-best mark since December 19th.
This has them nearly holding onto the eighth seed in the Western Conference, just a half-game up on Golden State and two on Portland.
Their defense is carrying them, ranking ninth in points allowed per game (112.3), while the offense is being anchored by Kawhi Leonard, who ranks eighth with 27.9 points per game.
The Timberwolves are in a volatile position. The loss to the Lakers on Tuesday dropped them down to the fifth seed in the Western Conference. The No. 3 to No. 7 seeds are all within two games of each other, with the upside of hosting two first-round games or the downside of slipping to the NBA Play-In Tournament.
The Timberwolves have now dropped two straight, including to the Magic at home, with the defense being inconsistent, especially with the Lakers' 120-106 win being the first time Minnesota allowed 120+ points in a loss since February 2nd.
The Clippers have effectively controlled the pace of their previous matchups against Minnesota. Their slower style has led to lower-scoring games, especially when Minnesota plays back-to-back. We should expect the same again tonight.

Houston Rockets vs. Denver Nuggets
- Leg 1: Nuggets -6.5 (-115)
- Leg 2: Nikola Jokic 50+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-135)
- Leg 3: Nuggets Team Total Over 118.5 Points (-115)
The Nuggets cannot get healthy, and it could cost them home-court advantage in the playoffs. Peyton Watson will miss this game, but Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon and Cameron Johnson have all missed significant time this season.
This has led to inconsistent results, especially in the last few weeks, with the team winning back-to-back games once since February 1st.
The Rockets are barely holding on to the No. 3 seed, just half a game ahead of the Timberwolves and Lakers, and 1.5 games ahead of the Nuggets. They are on a nice run, winning six of their last nine games, but five of those wins came against teams below .500, with two losses against teams currently in playoff contention.
The Rockets have struggled to keep Nikola Jokic quiet and stop the Nuggets' ability to attack the basket. He could play a large role in a potential win that could shake up the Western Conference standings.
