But with NBA Sleeper Picks, you pick teams of 2-8 players from multiple teams based on your preferences and predict whether those players will score more or less than a predetermined amount. There are a number of ways to play and a variety of strategies to employ, and we’ll guide you through the process each week. Here are our top NBA Sleeper Picks for today’s games.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (10/28/24)

Regular season record: 3-9

Cade Cunningham (G – DET): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

Cade has started the season hot for the Detroit Pistons, averaging 27.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.0 assists. His scoring has been down in first quarters, but he's been more consistent throughout the game and has shot .478 from the field.  Cunningham has recorded 21 or more points in every game this season and has an excellent opportunity to do so again based on his 34.1 percent usage rate alone. Clap the More on Cade for Monday night.

Ja Morant (G – MEM): OVER 14.5 points (alt line)

The multiplier here is nothing to write home about, but the probability makes it of high interest to be included with today’s tickets. As we saw from our first quarter plays last week, a new season means new data and trends, so relying on past seasons’ information is not always a useful tool. Couple that with Sleeper Picks delaying the release of some first quarter lines until just hours before the game, and we will have more alt lines until this changes. Ja has scored 16 or more points in all three of his games this seaso,n but he has yet to top 30 minutes of action. Still, he is taking enough shots and getting to the line frequently enough that even the full 19.5 merits consideration for tonight. Jab the More on Ja for Monday Night Basketball.

Anthony Davis (F/C – LAL): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)

The 19.5 alt line was given consideration here, but the 24.5 leaves some meat on the bone as far as the multiplier is concerned and raises the probability enough to make the sacrifice. Davis has scored 31 or more points in each of his games this season, fueled largely by him living at the charity stripe, with at least 13 attempts and 10 makes in every game this season. Davis just drained 35 points on Phoenix on Friday and has an excellent opportunity to hit at least 25 tonight. Dap the More on Davis for Monday night's action.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
