NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (10/30)
Welcome to Sleeper Picks! Sleeper’s newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will break down our top three picks for tonight's NBA action. Similar to fantasy sports, the goal in Sleeper Picks is to draft a team of players based on who you think will perform better than the field. But with Sleeper Picks, you pick teams of 2-8 players from multiple teams based on your preferences and predict whether those players will score more or less than a predetermined amount. There are a number of ways to play and a variety of strategies to employ, and we’ll guide you through the process each week.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (10/30/23)
Season record: 7-5
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): OVER 0.5 double doubles
Multipliers are something to be mindful of when playing Sleeper Picks. You need to build a ticket with at least a 2.0 multiplier, which means some two pick combinations will not meet the requirements. Enter Nikola Jokic over 0.5 double doubles, and it's 1.08 multiplier. When combining with the points total below, I was prompted to add another selection. Low multiplier plays have their place when forced to make more than one selection as they help build the multiplier and generally come equipped with a high probability of success attached. Jokic recorded 58 double doubles in his 69 games played last season. It doesn't get much more straightforward than that. Tap the More on Jokic for Monday night.
OG Anunoby (G/F – TOR): OVER 1.5 steals + blocks
OG Anunoby dealt with some cramping issues that kept him out of Saturday's loss to the 76ers and is listed as questionable for tonight, so make sure he is active before punching him in. That said, if he is active, he is an easy smash on the More. Set at 1.5 steals but also 1.5 steals plus blocks, this line is screaming value. OG reeled off two or more StOcks in 51 of 67 games last season and has hit the mark in both games played this year. The reigning NBA All-Defensive first team selection is an excellent play as long as he keeps being listed at 1.5. Hit the More.
Scottie Barnes (G/F – TOR): OVER 18.5 points
Scottie Barnes has started the season strong for the Toronto Raptors, averaging a robust 21 points per game on .565 shooting from the field. Increased ball handling duties mean Barnes will no longer be left watching as his teammates jack up shots in search of new contracts. He scored just 17 in the opener but followed that up with 22 and 24 points against the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers, respectively. The coaching staff is encouraging Barnes to be aggressive with his shot, and the results thus far have all the signs of a breakout season. 19 points should be more than doable, even if he slips under .500 from the field. Tap the More on Barnes for tonight's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
