NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (11/26/24)

Regular season record: 38-28

Lauri Markkanen (F – UTA): OVER 0.5 steals + blocks

Lauri is streaky in StOcks, posting two instances of back-to-back games with two StOcks and not hitting the mark in any of his other nine games. The blocks are not something we typically worry about and is the reason the More on this line often has so much appeal, especially when the steals total is only 0.5. However, the StOck line is listed at 0.5 tonight. This would normally mean we would fade the total altogether, but tonight's opponent is a San Antonio Spurs team Lauri has posted two or more StOcks against both times he has faced them this season. Mash the More on Markkanen for Tuesday night basketball.

Julius Randle (F – MIN): OVER 14.5 points (alt line)

Randle looks to be a strong fit for the Timberwolves. He averages fewer rebounds than Karl-Anthony Thomas but is a better playmaker and doesn't take as many plays off. Randle is averaging 21.8 points per game, scoring 20 or more in five straight and in 12 of his 16 games overall. The 20.5 and 19.5 lines offer some value, but this alt line is a high probability, low multiplier type of play sometimes necessary in a multi pick environment. Jab the More on Julius for Tuesday night's action.

Stephon Castle (G – SAS): OVER 9.5 points (alt line)

Castle has started to take another step forward in his development as a scorer. He has recorded 18 or more points in back-to-back contests and is now averaging 10.9 points per game on the season. The actual total here is 13.5, which is well above his average and is a number he has topped just four times all season. On the other hand, Castle has recorded 10 or more points in nine straight and in 10 of his last 11. Clap the More on Castle for Tuesday night at Sleeper Picks.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
