NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2/26/24)

Season record: 153-89

De’Aaron Fox (G – SAC): OVER 4.5 assists

Fox has taken a backseat to the breakout of Domantas Sabonis this season and no longer consistently puts up the type of assist numbers we expect from someone like the Kings’ talented lead guard. That happens when your teammate has seven triple doubles in his last 10 games and leads the NBA in that category. After five straight games of falling under 4.5, Fox has recorded at least five assists in seven straight. In fact, there is no reason that this total wasn't listed at 5.5 and could climb by game time, especially since it was listed at 6.5 last night against San Antonio. Fox managed just three assists against the Heat earlier this season but, due to recent form, remains an excellent play. Roll with form over head-to-head data and fire up the More on Fox for Monday night's action.

Scottie Barnes (G/F – TOR): OVER 7.5 rebounds

Scottie managed just five rebounds against Atlanta on Friday, in turn dropping his rebound total from 8.5 to a value-laden 7.5. Barnes has recorded eight or more rebounds in six of his last seven and is an elite play tonight against an Indiana Pacers team that he has hauled in 12 rebounds against in each of the two games he has played against them this season. Bump the More on Barnes for Monday night basketball.

Myles Turner (C – IND): OVER 0.5 assists

Turner has recorded at least one assist in each of his last 15 games, making this total one of the standouts of the day as one of the two non first quarter lines that has hit in at least five straight. He has put up exactly one assist in three consecutive games, which is what has helped keep the number at an exploitable 0.5 instead of a fade-worthy 1.5. On the season as a whole, this total has not been as good as his recent form has made it out to be, as Turner has recorded zero assists in 24 percent of his games. However, due to being on an extended streak and playing a team lacking any true bigs with any quality, this line is screaming with value. Tap the More on Turner for Monday night.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
