NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (3/7/24)
Season record: 165-97
Luka Doncic (G/F – DAL): OVER 0.5 triple doubles
This isn't a line I would normally consider, but Luka has been on fire, which makes this total extremely appealing when one considers the 2.70 multiplier. Luka is set at 9.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists, and at least 10 assists seems like a lock tonight. If one believes this to be true, then we have a 9.5 rebound play available at 1.87 alone or 2.70 paired with 10 points and 10 assists. Luka has recorded a triple double in each of his last four games and will need to be active on the boards for a team with rebounding issues in the frontcourt. Light up the More on Luka for Thursday night basketball.
Isaiah Stewart (C – DET): OVER 0.5 three pointers made
Stewart at 0.5 has about as low of a multiplier as you'd expect from a total that has missed just five times all season. Stewart has drained at least one three in each of his last five games and in 34 of his 39 games overall. Slap the More on Stewart for Thursday night.
DeMar DeRozan (G/F – CHI): OVER 4.5 assists
DeMar is being leaned on as a secondary playmaker for the Chicago Bulls and has not disappointed. The big three of Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, and DeRozan never even had a chance to get going, but DeRozan has been excellent since he arrived in Chicago. DeMar has recorded five or more assists in three of his last four games and in seven of his last nine. Tonight, he'll face off against a Golden State Warriors team he went bonkers on earlier this season to the tune of 39 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Dap the More on DeRozan for Thursday night.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
