NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (4/10/25)

Regular season record: 222-67

Jalen Brunson (G – NYK): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

Jalen stepped right back into a heavy minute count upon his return from the ankle injury (thanks, Tom Thibodeau), and while he was a little passive with his shot (he did get to the line 10 times) in his first game back, he was back to the volume option we all know and love against Boston. The 24.5 should be considered here with OG Anunoby and Josh Hart both ruled out. Jalen dropped 36, 31, and 31 points in his three games against Detroit this season. Jab the More on Jalen for Thursday night basketball.

Ja Morant (G – MEM): OVER 24.5 points (alt line)

The initial thought here was to roll with the 19.5 alt line, but Ja has been incredible since the All-Star break, averaging 27.5 points and 7.1 assists compared to just 20.7 and 7.4 assists prior to the break. Ja has scored 25 or more points in 10 of his last 12 games and has taken 20 or more shots in each of the four games since Taylor Jenkins was surprisingly fired right before the playoffs. Ja looks to be back to his old self, and as long as he can play a full complement of minutes against a team like Charlotte, he will hit at least 25 points. The 19.5 is the play if you want to go the safe route, as Ja being pulled early is a legitimate concern. With that said, Ja will likely look to get his volume regardless of whether or not he plays 30 minutes or 35 minutes tonight. Jab the More on Ja for Tuesday night basketball.

Cade Cunningham (G – DET): OVER 19.5 points (alt line)

Cade is dealing with a knee injury, but is listed as probable for tonight as the injury is considered to be minor. The Detroit Pistons have been reeling, losing four games in a row, and need Cade on the floor to help right the ship ahead of a likely first round date with the New York Knicks. Cade has scored 25 and 35 points in his two games since returning from an injury layoff and should be all the way up for a battle against New York. Cade has scored 24 or more points in 11 of his last 12 games played. Cunningham dropped 22, 29, and 36 points in his three games against the Knicks this season. Clap the More on Cade for Thursday night's NBA action.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
