Overview
Coming in off of a bye week, the Wolf Pack were last on the field in a 34-27 win over Lousiana Tech that they fought off a letdown spot since beating Clemson the week before. In that contest, quarterback Devin Leary did what he has been, as he limited turnovers in a 251 yard and two touchdown performance.
In the rushing game, the two-headed monster of Ricky Person Jr. and Zonovan Knight lead the way for a unit that has just inside 1,000 yards on the season.
The home Golden Eagles, who also come into this one with a record of 4-1, welcome the Wolf pack to town on what will be their homecoming, the first full one since 2019. Running back Pat Garwo III comes into this one averaging 94 yards per game on the ground, which has been the only consistent aspect of an offense on their second quarterback of their season.
The Golden Eagles have also been getting consistent play from their defense, a unit that allows just 16.8 points per game.

Bottom Line
What’s lost on this Boston College offense that is averaging 35.6 points per game is how they got there, putting up 41+ on the likes of UMass, Colgate, and most recently Mizzou. While I think they continue to play well in what is a shallow ACC, I like for NC State’s #13 ranked defense to come away with the victory in this one.
