NCAA Tournament Same Game Parlay: UConn vs. Michigan (National Championship)
The 2026 NCAA Tournament National Championship game is here, and the UConn Huskies are looking for their third title in four seasons. However, the Huskies face a steep uphill battle against the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan is favored by 6.5 or 7.5 points, depending on the sportsbook. Yaxel Lendeborg will play, but will he be healthy enough to lead the Wolverines to their second title in program history? Here is the best NCAA Tournament same game parlay (SGP) for the National Championship game.

No. 2 UConn Huskies vs. No. 1 Michigan Wolverines
Leg #1: Michigan -7.5 (+100)
Maybe I'll learn to never bet against Dan Hurley and UConn during March Madness, but I can't help but back Michigan, even as huge favorites in this game.
Michigan is currently in the midst of one of the most dominant runs in tournament history. Each of their five tournament wins has been by at least 13 points, with only two victories coming by fewer than 20. In the Elite 8, they built a 30-point lead on Arizona before ultimately winning by 18 points. In the Sweet 16, they beat Tennessee by 33 points.
KenPom ranks Michigan as the No. 1 defensive team and the No. 4 offensive team in the country. UConn is great defensively, but the offense ranks 26th, according to KenPom. While the Huskies have been impressive this tournament, there have simply been too many times when the offense has gone cold for long stretches.
Leg #2: Tarris Reed Jr. Over 14.5 Points (-114)
Tarris Reed Jr. is averaging 14.8 points per game, but he has shown up in a massive way in the tournament. He's scored at least 17 points in four of his five games, and he's scored at least 26 twice. He's also been incredible from the free-throw line. Though he's shooting just 57.9% for the season, he's shooting 76.5% in the tournament. Reed gets to the line a lot, averaging 6.8 free throws per game.
Reed is also shooting nearly 60% from the floor in the tournament, and while Michigan is holding opponents to just 38.4% shooting from the floor, Reed already scored 26 against Duke, shooting 62.5% in that game. Duke finished the year with the ninth-best shooting defense. Reed is simply on a magical run in March. No matter the matchup, I like him to at least hit his season average.
Leg #3: Morez Johnson Jr. Over 7.5 Rebounds (+118)
Morez Johnson Jr. has fewer than eight rebounds in back-to-back games, which is the only way I can justify the price for his over being as high as it is. Johnson leads Michigan with 7.3 rebounds per game, and he's averaging 7.6 per contest in the tournament. He has at least eight rebounds in three of his last five games. Michigan has a definite rebounding advantage over UConn.
Michigan is grabbing 40.1 rebounds per game, which ranks 16th in the nation. UConn ranks just 118th. And the two teams that Johnson struggled against in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 each rank in the top five in the nation in rebounds per game. Don't let recent performances overshadow how good Johnson has been on the boards this season.
