NFL Best Bet for Browns at Ravens: Sunday Night Football (Week 12)

If you’re like me, you fall victim to the Sunday scaries every week. The crushing reality of work yet-to-be-done starts to sink in sometime in the afternoon, and it’ll ruin the rest of the day if you let it. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to — just change the channel to ESPN! It’s much easier to procrastinate with Sunday Night Football occupying your attention.

PointsBet understands the struggle. That’s why they’re offering a $20 risk-free bet for Sunday night’s action. You can take advantage of the promotion on any market with a minimum of -200 odds. Unlike whatever work you’ve put off all weekend, you won’t have to worry about negative consequences with this offer.

Jarvis Landry o40.5 Receiving Yards | -115 at PointsBet

Some trends are worth tailing. Since joining the Browns in 2018, Jarvis Landry hasn’t gone for fewer than 52 receiving yards against the Ravens. That sample includes wins, losses, and blowout losses — basically, just about every possible outcome for this evening’s contest. Of course, he had a healthier quarterback under center in each of those games. However, this total sits 11 yards below his worst-ever performance against the Ravens in a Browns uniform, so we do have some wiggle room.

Of course, that’s not the only reason to target this prop. The Ravens have struggled defensively this year, but they’ve remained a solid unit against opposing running backs. They allow the fourth-fewest rushing yards to the position. They have played their worst against opposing wideouts. While they’ve only allowed 115 receptions to the position, the second-fewest, they’ve also given up the 10th-most receiving yards (1,776) and the eighth-most per game (176).

Baltimore has a tendency to allow backbreaking plays on defense. They have allowed the second-most explosive passing plays this year (47). Landry should make enough noise to cash this relatively low-set prop total tonight, especially if the Browns have to play from behind like the spread suggests.
