NFL Best Bet for Packers at 49ers: Sunday Night Football (Week 3)

If you’re like me, you fall victim to the Sunday scaries every week. The crushing reality of work yet-to-be-done starts to sink in sometime in the afternoon, and it’ll ruin the rest of the day if you let it. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to — just change the channel to ESPN! It’s much easier to procrastinate with Sunday Night Football occupying your attention.

PointsBet understands the struggle. That’s why they’re offering a $20 risk-free bet for Sunday night’s action. You can take advantage of the promotion on any market with a minimum of -200 odds. Unlike whatever work you’ve put off all weekend, you won’t have to worry about negative consequences with this offer.

George Kittle o64.5 Receiving Yards | -115 at PointsBet

Kittle has had an underwhelming start to the season. Through two games, he owns eight receptions, 95 receiving yards, and no touchdowns. Fortunately for him, the San Francisco 49ers have lost almost everyone else on their offense. The team has already chewed through several running backs, and they will probably have to start unproven rookie Trey Sermon.

Not even Kyle Shanahan can carve a dominant rushing attack out of this depleted backfield. The ground game may have its moments, but if the 49ers are going to keep pace with the Packers, they’ll need to pass. Often. And to Kittle.

Kittle has already gone over this total once. He recorded 78 receiving yards in Week 1’s win over the Lions on four catches. Also, Kittle surpassed this total in four of his eight starts last season.

Kittle’s opponent, the Packers, haven’t fared well against opposing tight ends this year. Detroit’s T.J. Hockenson just caught eight passes for 66 yards against their defense last week.

Hockenson isn’t the only tight end to have looked good against Green Bay thus far, though. New Orleans’ Juwan Johnson caught three passes for 21 yards and two scores despite playing on only 13.8% of his team’s offensive snaps in Week 1. And his teammate, Adam Trautman, added another 18 yards on three passes. The yardage may not have been there for those two, but it never needed to be, as the Saints often found themselves close to Green Bay’s end zone.
